Ava's POV
I've continued to have this reoccurring voice in my dreams. There is no image or picture it is just pitch black with a voice echoing in the background. I have since pushed it farther from my mind and blamed it on the stress. I did attack Rosado recently so it must be because of that, it has to be.
It has only been about a month since my attack on Rosado's main warehouse. I still haven't fully recovered from the attack because the bastard hit me so hard that he broke two of my rib bones. It hurt to walk and breathe for long periods of time but the pain has gone away little by little. Even though I was put on bed rest by my doctor Isabella, I still go to work. Somehow whenever I'm not there something goes wrong.
I dress up and drive down to the warehouse to see Dante's car parked in the lot. I enter inside and go into my office hoping to avoid him.
Osvaldo's POV
I make my way down to Ava's warehouse and pull into the lot. Yesterday I had a meeting with Justin and looked at plans my father has for unloading his shipment that will be arriving next week. I took this opportunity to tell Ava about it, knowing she'll want to make plans for an attack.
I pull into the lot and park my car. I go through the usual entrance and run into Dante on my way to the meeting room.
"Hey Dante, is Ava here?" I ask.
"No, she isn't. I'll just take these documents and give them to her," he says in arrogance.
"Okay tha..."
Before I could finish he grabbed the documents from me and roughly pushes me against the wall, grabbing me by my shirt.
"I don't know what your motives are working with Ava, but you haven't fooled me. I've got my eye on you, you understand me?" he says in an imperiling manner.
"Look, Dante, I don't what kind of intentions you think I have but,"
I swiftly switch positions with him and now I'm the one pushing him against the wall.
"I have wanted this piece of shit gone for as long as I've been living and if you ruin this for me, well let's just say it won't go unnoticed, comprende?" I say furiously.
I let him go as he looks at me menacingly before walking away from the wall. Just as he reaches the door to enter the warehouse, Ava walks through the door.
"Ava? What the hell are you doing here, you're supposed to be home, in bed!" Dante says angrily.
"Dante let's both be honest. When have I ever done what I'm supposed to do?" she says in a light-hearted tone.
She notices our silent manner and looks at both of us.
"Is there something wrong with you two?" she says in annoyance.
"Nope, nothing wrong. Right, Osvaldo?" says Dante.
"Yup, everything is good," I say, trying to sound convincing.
She shrugs and snatches the documents out of Dante's hand. I follow her into the meeting room, giving Dante a glare while doing so. As I sit in my usual seat, Ava seats herself right next to mine. That's odd?
Ava's POV
Something definitely went on between those two and I intend to find out what. The best thing to make a man tell you something is to get them nervous. It works with Dante all the time. I know exactly what makes Osvaldo nervous, and that is me.
We begin talking about Sebastion's shipment plans. In between talking, Osvaldo cracks a few jokes about his father's incompetence and this was my queue to start. As I "laughed", I placed my hand on his arm and he immediately made eye contact with my hand.
