Chapter 10.) Real lab

(My POV ~)
We made it to the CORE lab as I got out and undyne holding the poor driver. "Are you sure about this?" She asked and I nodded. We walked to the front door of the lab then it opened like an elevator. I took a deep breath as I felt a hand on my shoulder as I look to see raph and he nodded. I look determined then head inside as the others following me. We look around to see no lights. "We need light, use your phones." I said as I got my phone out and turn on flashlight as the others did the same. I look around as we walked. "Hello, anyone here?" I asked. No answer then realized. "No monster knew me, but they know you." I said as I turn to undyne as she perked up. "Your right, the monsters only know me because I'm captain of the royal guard." She said as she stepped ahead. "Hello! Is any monster here?" She shouted as we jumped a little. Then the lights came on as we shielded our eyes a little bit then I look and gasp as I see the entire room familiar. "This is alphys's lab!!!" I said then heard a drop as something fast went passed me as I look to see the man on the ground then my eyes widen in realization. "Guys, watch over him!" I said as I run off with undyne. "Alphys! Where are you?!" Undyne shout as I stopped then look up as I hear a sniff. "Undyne! Up here!!!" I said then run upstairs as undyne follows me, once we made it up, we see a dino female like monster and I gasp. "Alphys!" We both said then went to her as we both crouched. Undyne touch her shoulder as she jumped and turn to see undyne and me. "Undyne!" She said as she tackled undyne to a hug and kissed her. I smiled happily as I fangirl from my mind. 'Yes, my ship is sailed!!!'I thought. Once they departed, I crawled to her and Alphys saw me and gasp. "Woah woah woah, it's ok. I'm just a human, kinda." I said as I remembered the dream incident. Alphys gulped nervously and waved. "It's ok, we're not doing to hurt ya." I said. "W-w-we?" She stuttered. I nodded. "Guys, we found her!!!" I said we see the guys jumped up with the poor driver as casey comes up the stairs. Her eyes widen. "We came to you cause we need your help, Alphys. But first things first, is there any monsters with you in the CORE?" I asked and she nodded. I look at the guys and cleared my throat. "Gentlemen, may I introduce you to dr.alphys. Asgore's royal scientist in the underground." I said as she waved shyly. "She's also my girlfriend!" Undyne said as the perked up in surprise. "I know, it got me too when I first discovered it." I said as I giggled. "T-the monsters are at the CORE, mettaton is keeping them safe. B-b-but asgore, sans, frisk and flowey aren't there." She said as I sighed. "It's alright, at least you tried. We've already got papyrus, muffet, and chara safe at the farmhouse." I said as her eyes widen. "Y-y-you have papyrus?! Oh, thank God. Sans was going to kill me if I can't find him!" She said as I smiled. "Hey, at least you are ok. And the others too." I said . Then she perked up as she sees her. "Oh, my god! Is he alright?!" She said as she goes to him. "He's fine. Speed demon was holding him hostage to drive him." I said as she nodded. "I see, we better get to the CORE to patch him up. But first-" she said then cut herself out as she covers her mouth. I sighed knowing what she's talking about along with undyne. 'She's must've shown them the truth.'I thought as I go to her. "Alphys, I know what you are saying. But it's not your fault, it's time to tell the truth before we get to the CORE." I said as undyne agreed with me as the others grew confused. She then perked up. "H-How do you know about the truth?!" Alphys said. "Because I'm from another world where you all exist on a game." I said. Her eyes widen as she stares at me. "I... I can't believe it." She said as I get up and undyne picked alphys up bridal style as the others follow me downstairs. We then saw the elevator. I push the button as the elevator doors open. I turned to the others. "Come everyone, there's something you need to know about Alphys." I said as the others step inside as I sighed and got inside. The door closed and I push the button as we move. "I  know that the place will become creepy but I'm letting you know that if you see something, don't kill it! Try to tame it and call me or alphys immediately." I said as they nodded. "Alix,What's going on?" Casey asked. "For alphys, she doesn't want to be afraid anymore." I said. "She's right, and for that to happen, I have to face my own mistakes. I've already started it before, I want to be clear. No one else's problem, but my own. If you are truly undyne's friends. Then I trust you. Since you have known the truth then your friends must know too." Alphys said as she look at me as I nodded. The doors opened. "Then let's move, you deserve to know what I did." Alphys said as she leaves as undyne follows her with the unconcious man. We were about to follow them until the doors closed. My eyes widen. "Everyone grab onto something!" I said as I grab the bars and gripped them as the others did the same. The elevator rumbled as we hold on as we go down fast as we scream, alarms. "Warning! Warning! Elevator losing power! EM tether stability lost! Altitude dropping!" The elevator said as we kept screaming as I see the brothers holding on as casey gripped the bar. "Brace yourselves!!!!" I said then crash at the bottom as we grunt and landed on the floor. I coughed as I see darkness. "Is everyone ok?! Raph?! Mikey?! Donnie?! Casey?!" I said as I hear 4 groans as I sighed in relief. "Thank goodness."I said. Then the elevator doors opened. We all walked out as they look around as I move. "Come on, this way." I said as they gulped nervously as they come by me. Then we heard an audio. "Psst. Gorey, wake up!" A female voice said and I know all to well. "Toriel." I said. "Mmm? What is it, dear? ... err, and why do you have that video camera?" Another voice asked as I smirked. "Asgore." I said. "Shush! I want to get your reaction. Gorey, dearest. What is my favorite vegetable?" She asked as we pay attention. I smiled. "Hmm... carrots, right?" He asked as I snickered. "No no no! My FAVORITE vegetable is... Eda-Mom-e... get it???" She said as I laughed a little as i they grew confused. "What does she mean by that?" Raph asked. "This is an audio where the queen of monsters is pregnant with a baby." I said as their eyes widen. "Go back to bed, dear." He said as he yawns through  the audio. "No no!! Not yet! Hee hee hee. Now, If I were a dog, what breed of dog would I be?" She asked as we listened as I smiled. "Hmm... I don't know, honey. What kind of dog would you be?" He asked as we keep moving. "I would be... a momeranian." She said as we laughed a little. "Ok, that's a good one." Donnie said as I nodded. I hear both of them laugh through the audio. "You sure  are excited to have this child. You know, if you keep jokes like this... one day, you could be... a famous Momedian." He said as we smiled and laugh a little but not toriel. "Well, I am going to bed." She said as I snickered. "Hey!come on, tori! That one was funny!" He said as toriel laughs. "I know. I'm just teasing you. Goodnight, dear." She said as I smiled. "Goodnight, honey." He said then the audio beeped. "Okay, chara, are you ready?" A new voice asked. "Who's that?" Donnie asked. "This is the audio after toriel gave birth to a son named asriel dreemur. Then chara fell to the underground and became there second child." I said. We hear no response from chara. "Do your creepy face!" He said, no response but asriel did scream for a bit as I giggled. "Oh! Wait! I had the lenses cap on... What?! Your not going to do it again...? Come on, quit tricking me!" He said then we hear another bleep as we move to another hallway. We listened. "Howdy, chara! Smile for the camera!" He said, no response. "Ha, this time I got you! I left the cap on... on purpose! Now you're smiling for no reason!" He said as he chuckled as I giggled at his childness. "That reminds me someone I know."I said as I look at mikey as he blushed then chuckled and scratch behind his neck. I hear chara's laughter then sighed as I frown a little. "Do you remember? When we tried to make butterscotch pie for dad? The recipe asked for cups of butter... but we accidentally put in butter cups instead." Chara said as donnie's eyes widen. "Buttercups are very poisonous if you eat them!" He said as I nodded. "Yeah! Those flowers got him really sick. I felt so bad. We made mom really upset. I should've laughed it off, like you did... where are you going with this?" He asked as the audio beeped as there eyes widen. "Did chara..." raph said as I nodded. "I...I don't like this idea, chara." He  said. "You're scared. You're crying." She said as we made it to the elevator of the lab but the doors are locked. We look at each other and nodded as me,raph and donnie went to the left as the two stay here on the look out. We see med beds as we continue forward. "Big kids don't cry." He said. "Are you calling me a liar? Are you doubting me?" She asked. "No! We'll be strong! We'll free everyone. I'll go get the flowers." He said as the audio beeps. "In order to set the monsters free. They need 7 souls to do it and a monster soul to set it free." I said as their eyes widen. "Chara... can you hear me? We want you to wake up..." toriel said. "Chara! You have to stay determined! You can't give up... you are the future of humans and monsters..." asgore said as I look at donnie. "Stay here, raph come with me." I said as we head to another room to see a switch. "Psst... chara... please... wake up... I don't like this plan anymore." He said as we flick the switch then left the room as we got to donnie then continue forward. "I... i... no, I said... I said I'd never doubt you." He said as we made it back to the main room with mikey and Casey. "Six, right? We just have to get six... and we'll do it together, right?" He asked as raph we all went right as we keep going. "But nobody came." I said as we head on. Then we heard something and we turned back as we see the exit vined up. "Alix?" Donnie asked as my eyes widen. "Those aren't flowey's vines. Come on!!!" I  said as we run head on. We made it to the next room and saw the beds and... "alphys, undyne!" I said as we went to then as they smiled in relief to see us. "What the heck is this place?!" Raph said. "This is alphys's REAL lab. Where she has experimented with the souls. Alphys cleared her throat as we begin to walk.

So monster souls are what we need,

As she sings we made it to a room where it has the yellow switch and I flicked the switch as we keep going as we all listened.

Me💖: She's found DETERMINATION,
The power to change fate,
And asgore went through town,
Looking for monsters who've fallen down,
Then a vessel found,
A flower on the ground,
That flower she did give,
No SOUL,
But the will to live,

I sing as we made it to the room where there's a curtain and I opened it to reveal a switch and I flicked it.

Alphys🥼: Experiments failed,
This is a sorry tale,
Then to my surprise,
They opened their eyes,

She sing as the others eyes widen except me and undyne. "Everyone who fell just woke up. Like nothing happened. At least there's a happy ending." Alphys said. "She called asgore what happened, she told their families was alive, and she'd send them back..." undyne said. "Well, did she?" Casey asked. "No, she didn't." I said as I look up. "Why not?" Raph asked then saw a drop of goo fell in front of me as I look up to see an amalgamate on the ceiling, I hear the four gasp as I frown. "That's why." I said as the amalgamate comes down then realized it's the dog amalgamate. I smiled. "Hey, buddy. It's ok." I said as I pet it as it whines and pants happily. Then I see more of them coming as i hear them calling as Alphys and undyne came in. "You see now? This... is what happens when the determination can do to the monsters, it's unstable to them. Alphys didn't know what to do." I said.

Me💖: Breaking bodies,
Melting bodies,

Alphys🥼: What have I done?
The flower's gone!
They keep calling,
"Where's my family?"
"Will they come home?"
Don't look at the phone,

Asgore calling,

Alphys sing as she breaks down and me and undyne hugged her. The amalgamate come over to us as the dog amalgamate whines with worry. "It's ok, she's fine. She's ok, she's just letting it all out." I said as I pet it. I look at the others to see there shocked state. "I know that it's a lot to take in, believe me. I know, but I still want to be her friend. After what she has been through, she needs someone to talk too, someone who can understand her. Sometimes, the truth is heartbreaking for one another has." I said as I get up as undyne gets up holding alphys. "That's why I want to understand what you guys mean along with everyone else. It's tough, I know but you can be strong for one another. Just like how I am to you all."I said. Then turn to the amalgamate's. "We're going to the CORE, if your getting hungry. My suggestion is to head for the kitchen."I  said as the amalgamate's head for the kitchen as I smiled. I see the blue swim and flicked it and turn the elevator power on. "Now, come on." I said as I walk to them as we head for the kitchen.
"We've got to get to the CORE!"
