Half My Love

Chapter 2: Thersa

I came down from the bus and ran to the hallway of our highschool, to look for Edward to ask him about the math problem that I had difficulties in solving, when I suddenly turned around to see a very tall and very handsome guy. It was James. James is a very tall brunette guy with a very muscular body, big hazel eyes and a dimpled smile. He is literally the guy every girl wished for. James, Edward, Tina and I, were bestfriends from childhood .James and Edward were always by our sides from day one.

''Have you seen where Tina is?'' James asked.''No,the last time I saw her she was with Carla in the hallway and she disappeared afterward''. ''Ohhh, ok thanks my nerdy Titi'' he says teasing me in a very gentle way. Besides being very handsome he is very gentle and oh my god he literally is the fairytale man found in books and movies.'' First of all, my name is Thersa Thomas not Titi and second, I am not nerdy''. ''Ohh, not at all'' he laughs and leaves me standing in the hallway looking for Edward.

At the end of the hallway I saw a chubby redheaded boy with glasses staring at me and holding a math book in his hand. He comes to me and says, ''Did you study well for the test cause this time I will be the first in class'' he giggles. ''So confident of yourself'' I say rolling my eyes.

During the math test I realized that everybody was annoyed and angry about the math test being very hard expect me and Edward of course, we are the nerds of the class. I only admit that for myself, not in front of James and my sister cause they never stop teasing me about it.

''Pst, whats the answer of number four'' Tina asked .''I don't know'' I reply. ''Big liar'' She says, rolls her eyes, and turns to Edward wishing she would get the answer from him. As time passed, I was making sure that I didn't leave any answer empty by mistake, when a loud voice comes from across the room ''Time's up, hand in your papers.'' It was Mrs.Neslon, our math teacher. I made sure that I was the last person to hand in the test so I could use the time left for reviewing my paper for the hundredth time.

After I heard all the class nagging about how hard the test was, expect for James, who thinks that failing in a math test isn't the end of the world. But literally, for me it is. I always made sure that I never failed any test in school and was always getting the full grade for any test. ''Why didn't you help me? I am your only sister, don't you care about my future?!'' She says and she seems to be very pissed off at me. ''Well, I didn't help you because I care for your future. So you would learn to study next time because I am not always going to be next to you in life to help you!!'' I say in a loud voice enough for Carla to hear us. Carla is my sister's new bestfriend from highschool. Her character is exactly like my sister's and that's why she adores her.

Miss Yang is our history teacher she's literally my favorite teacher cause she talks about events in history like a story. She really makes me enjoy her periods...

When I open our house door I see my grandpa sitting on the couch and next to him sits Mr.William. He is James' father. Mr.William is the chancellor of the University of California. He is a very brilliant man. He worked so hard in life to get this position and he really is my role model in life. ''Come, sit my dear, we aren't talking about something personal." My grandpa says in a low voice. ''No pa I am going to my room. Ed will be here in any minute he wants  to visit me today''. ''Ok then, but where's Tina ?'' He asks . ''Ohhh..Tin...she...she...she will stay at Carla's house tonight.'' I lie. I know that my grandpa will get very angry if he knew what happened today with Tina because of Carla. My grandpa and me literally don't like her cause she always makes Tina fall into some sort trouble.

While I was sitting on my desk and studying, Ed (Ed is abbreviation for Edward ,Thersa´s best friend) takes permission and enters the room. ''What happened to Tina? I actually went from school early today because I had a dentist's appiontment", he says, seeming to be very worried about her. ''Well she and Miss Carla decided to take pictures of the teachers and they made a group and added the whole class except me and you. They made fun of the teachers and one of our classmates told the principal about it'' I say. ''What will happen to them, will they get fired or something?'' Ed asks. ''Well no, James' father talked with the principal and he convinced him to put them under detention.'' I say in a low voice making sure my grandpa in the other room doesn't hear us. ''What's that detention about? ''he asks. ''They have to clean the whole school for the whole month!'' I exclaim. ''I hope that will be a lesson for her'' he says. I roll my eyes knowing that it will never be, but at least it will stop her from making trouble for a short period of time.

After me and Ed had lunch and finished our homeworks we watched some netflix. At seven Ed left and I was so tired from the mess my sister made today.

I suddenly woke up from a scream from doownstairs. "Did I raise you all these years to be rewarded by you being the most disrespectful girl in your highschool?'' My grandpa shouts from downstairs. I ran quickly to make sure that the whole house wouldn't  crash over my sister's head.

My grandpa is the most kind and supportive man in the world but when its comes to our education and manners in school, he really is very strict. ''Why didn't you tell me what happened with your sister, do I always have to know whats happening with both of you from the neighbors?!!'' He seems to be very angry when words come out from his mouth.''Pa (pa is abbreviation for  grandpa) I am really sorry for what happened I didn't mean to make you this angry. Promise that I won't create any problems in school again", she says. I roll my eyes knowing that she is lying. ''You are both punished .You both are gonna give me your phones and you're not allowed to hangout with anybody until the end of the weekend.'' He seems to be very serious when saying it.

I just hate it when I have to be punished for everything my sister does. I don't know what I am going to do . I literally don't have a laptop and my phone is my only way to help me in my scientific school researches...
