~Ava pov.

When I wake up I lay in bed a little longer. If I get up I'll have to face the world again. And I'm not ready yet. After laying in bed for I don't know how long, I tell myself to get up and get dressed. After I get dressed I go downstairs, not even bothering with make-up. 

The fact that I don't even bother with make-up means a lot, because it's a miracle if you see me without my make-up. 

"Good morning, boo." Finn greets me. "Feeling any better?" I shake my head no, wondering how on earth he can be this happy in the morning. Especially since we stayed up untill 3 in the morning last night. 

"Honestly, I feel like shit." I tell him. "Have you got coffee?" He silently hands me my coffee, and smiles. "Girl, what you need is a day out. We're going to the zoo!" I raise me eyebrows, looking at him. "Are you for real now?" "Yes, I am. You can bond with the wolves, and all the other dog-like animals. Plus, animals are cute!" I laugh at his last sentence, but nod, he is correct I really like the zoo. "Is it going to be just the two of us?" I ask. "We could invite James, Lizzy and Rach. But it's your choice." I smile! "Let's invite them! It'll be really nice to visit the zoo with my bestest friends." I half fake a smile, I'm excited to go to the zoo but I'm still recovering from yesterday evening. "I'll call James, and Lisette, and you call Rachel, ok?" Finn says. I nod, get my phone from my pocket and call Rachel.

"Hey Rachel, how are you? I loved my birthday party yesterday!" Rachel laughs "I'm fine, A, how are you? I also had a lot of fun, until she decided to act all weird and things... Talking about her, how are you doing?" "I'm fine, Rach, after everyone went home Finn and I drove to my house to find my parents outside waiting for me. Turns out they wanted to know if I'd found my mate already." I hear Rachel gasping on the other side of the line. "How, what... What happened? Are you okay?" "Calm down, Rachel, I'm perfectly fine." "Pfew, I was really worried, you know." I laugh slightly "I did get kicked out of my house and I am currently staying at Finn's house." "You WHAT?!" Rachel practically screams. "I got kicked out of my house and I am now living at Finn's house." I repeat myself. "I heard you the first time, Ava, your parents can't do this!" She sounds really upset. "I know, Rach, but I can't undo it. It's their choice. But that's not why I called. Finn decided to go to the zoo because he says I need something to lighten up my mood. Are you coming? We're also inviting James and Lisette." "Of course I'm coming!" Rachel calls out in excitement. "I love the zoo! I'll be at Finn's in thirty minutes!" "Yay! I'm really excited to go to the zoo, see you soon."

After saying goodbye to Rachel, I return to the kitchen to see hat Finn is already making breakfast. "Finny," I whine "I want pancakes." He turns around with a big smile on his face. "Guess today is your lucky day, isn't it? We're going to the zoo and I prepared blueberry pancakes for breakfast!" I jump up and down from excitement and squeel while giving Finn a hug. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Finn really knows how to make me happy. While I'm still jumping Finn laughs "Sometimes I really feel like I'm your parent." I stop jumping, he's right. He's always felt closer than my parents. Finn realises what he said and gives a 'sorry'-look. "Sorry, boo, too soon?" I shake my head"It's okay, you are right you know. You've always felt closer to me than my so called 'parents'" "Aw thanks, boo! But now you have to get ready and put on make up and I''ll finish these pancakes."

As Finn tells me to,I go upstairs to do my make up. Only to find out I left my make up bag at my old house. I start to panick, I can't go to the zoo without make up on! I look practically dead if I don't wear make up!  Now that i am really panicking I decide to go downstairs to ask Finn what I should do.
