~Ava Pov.

At the end of the schoolday I wait at my locker for Mackenzie, I can see her walking this way but before I can call for her a hand gets put over my mouth. "Ava, Ava, Ava silly little girl. Thinking you can do homework with your mate on your birthday" he wispers in my ear. I turn around to face him "Finn, I have to finish this project, I can't have her thinking I never do anything!" Finn gives me a look as if to say 'please, Ava, you never do anything' "I know I don't! But I have to change it, for her! because I don't want her to hate me." "Aaaw, someone's got a crush!" Finn teases me.

"Who's got a crush?" someone behind me aks. I turn around to see Mackenzie standing there, but before I can answer her Finn does it for me "Our dearest friend Ava has." he tells her "Aaw, really? That so cute!" she squeals "Who's the lucky guy?" Oh no, she doesn't know I'm gay. Well, time to tell her then. "Mackenzie, I'm gay." "Oh my god, I didn't know! I am so sorry I didn't know Ava!" she looks like she's about to cry, so I give her a hug. "Sweetie, it's okay, you couldn't know." I wisper to her, after thinking about it, I add "Ow, and Finn knows about the wolf thing, you can talk about it in his presence" I hug for a few seconds more before releasing her. "Sorry to ruin the moment, girls, but I have to tell you that you and Ava can't do homework with you this afternoon" Mackenzie looks confused so Finn explains it to her. "It is A's birthday today, so we are throwing her a party!" "Oow, okay" Mackenzie says. She turns around to walk away, but before she can Finn reaches out and grabs her hand. "Who said you can't come?" At that sentence Ava's expression changes from sad to hopefull "Are you serious? I can come?" She asks, as if she can't believe it. "Of course you can!" Finn says "It wouldn't be complete without you! After all, you are..." Before he can finish his sentence I put my hand over his mouth, just in case he would spill about her being my mate. "What he was going to say is, you are part of the group now! Of course you have to come this afternoon, after all I'm the first one of our group to become sixteen!" I tell her, getting more and more excited about this afternoon the more we talk about it. After that we chat for a bit while we wait for Rachel, Lissete and James.

While we're waiting a very pretty blond girl passes, she looks a bit shocked to see Mackenzie standing and talking with me and Finn. "Hi Emma, how was your day? Oh and I'm not driving home with you, Ava invited me to her birthday party this afternoon." Mackenzie tells the girl, Emma, who looks surprised at Mackenzie. "Kenz, I'm so happy for you, your finally making friends!" she jokes, but at Mackenzies expression she doesn't find it that funny. Then Finn, feeling the tension growing, speeks up "Why don't you join us this afternoon. Like they say, the more, the merrier!" Emma seems to hesitate for a second but apparently decides it could be fun and nods. "Okay, I'll join you, but can Collin and Matt come?" I quickly turn around to see Finn get red for a second, but he hides it and tell Emma that ofcourse they can come. She gets her phone out of her pocket and turns away a little, probably to call either Collin or Matt. Then she turns back to us, "they'll be her in a sec. I think I interrupted their make out session." she tells us and we laugh. Mackenzie shakes her head. "Those two are probably the most horny people I've ever met!" Somehow, I find that comment very funny as I burst into a fit of laughter. when I've calmed down enough I stand up straight and see five faces looking at me with a weird expression. Ow, James and Lissete have arived while I was havind my fit of laughter. "What?" I ask them and they shake their heads.

"Hey peeps, what did I miss?" Rachel asks "sorry I'm late, A, Nick held me up." I give her a look "Do you mean you 'got dragged into a janitors closet to make out'?" Judging on her face, I am one hundred percent right. "Sorry, A, he's just so amazing." I give her a hug "Girl, I know what it feels like" I wisper in her ear. She lets go and gives me a curious look. I mouth 'I'll tell you later' she nods and lets the subject drop. Meanwhile two boys have joined our, not so little anymore, group. One of then has very bright pink hair with a rainbow at either sides of his head, I recognise him as one of the fighters of our pack, Matt. He's holding the hand of another boy, Collin, who's name i know because last year Finn couldn't stop talking about him. Turns out Collin was actually gay, but in a relationship with Matt. Just saying, I had told Finn multiple times that Collin was gay, but he wouldn't believe me. Sucks for Finn.
