After the big match and announcements, the people of Cerberus took me to a room here in the cave. It was small. It had a bed, bathroom, and kitchen at least. They told me that I wasn't allowed to leave, and then I remembered something important.

Mom! Dad!

She had no idea of what I've gotten myself into. They told me it's been a couple days since I woke up, so by now my dad and her would have called the authorities. I had to let them know that I was fine. I needed to teleport home, if not for them, for myself.

Grunting, I felt a pain shoot through my body. I realized that something was keeping me here. Trying again, I saw that my thought was confirmed. I wanted to know if it was just teleportation that was being stopped or all of my powers. I then attempted to coat myself with metal and grunted again with the feeling of pain flowing through my body.

Guess I'm not leaving any time soon.

With no other options, and the door being locked, I decided to look into the fridge and have something to drink. Luckily there were bottles of water.

Grabbing one, I jumped on the bed and thought about the events that brought me here.

Why am I still alive? was my first thought. My second thought was why S wanted me. Eh, whatever. I'll find out tomorrow. I'm too tired to think.

Sleep, it's a wonderful thing. Too bad I didn't get any. I was woken up by an ice cold bucket of water.

"Rise and shine, boy," it was S.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"Five thirty. If you're gonna train with us, you gotta live like us."

"Hey, man, I just want to get out of this place," I replied. It was a half-truth, as I knew that I couldn't just leave this place and have mass criminals roaming free. No, I'd have to take them down first.

"Leave? Ha! You're not leaving, boy. Plus it's only the first day of training. You can't already be thinking of leaving. Know what? I forgot my manners. Meet the group."

Looking around, I saw the two others I took down at the supermarket. One still had a bruise from where I hit him. The other looked at me with pure hatred. To provoke them a little more, I smiled at them. Along with them were two more people. Both were females. One appeared to be in her mid-twenties to thirties. The second looked no older than eighteen. They could've been related, seeing that they were both blonde and the younger one had they same type of facial features that the older one had. One look was all I needed to see that they were very dangerous. Since I couldn't use my powers, I took guesses as to what they could be, but came up blank. I realized that I'd need to be able to see patterns in certain abilities and whatnot.

"You've met Bull and Reflex. These two lovely ladies are Shift and-"

"Name's Quickmind," said the younger one.

"What's with the nicknames? I mean come on. Bull, Reflex, Shift, and Quickmind? Either neither of you cares for each other's names, or you don't want your names known." I had to ask. I mean I can't be the only one who thinks the names are weird.

Surprisingly, it wasn't S who answered this question, but it was Shift. "The nicknames are so that no one knows who we are. It helps out when you make enemies. It also helps when the government is always trying to identify you."

"I guess that makes sense." I replied.

"Well, now that you've had a chance to meet everyone, lets get to work. Oh, by the way, I think Deadshot is the wrong name for you. Since you have a wide range of abilities, we'll call you...Change."
