Chapter 4

Annie's POV

I was at Bethany's house when I got the call from Isabelle, we were having a big filming party there.  Alfie (pointlessblog), Zoe (Zoella), Bethany (Mota), Joe (ThacterJoe), Dan (Danisnotonfire), Phil (AmazingPhil), Troye (Sivan), Tyler (Oakley), Ash, Calum, Luke, Marie, Gabs, and Michael were all there.  Right now Dan and Tyler were making a "What's In My Mouth" challenge video for Dan's channel.  Tyler had an eggplant in his mouth when my phone started blasting "The A Team" by Ed Sheeran.  I checked the caller ID, which read "Bel Price", while everyone stared at me.

"Who is it?" called Gabs from across the room.

"Uhhhh... Caspar." I lied, then mentally swore at myself for saying it. I got suspicious looks from everyone, Caspar and I weren't that close, so everyone probably thought that something was going on, but honestly I didn't care.  Ashton looked over my shoulder at my phone, and he nodded and gave a small smile, he knew that Isabelle and I where friends but I had to lie because of her social status.  I walked out of the living room into the kitchen, where people couldn't hear my conversation.

"Hey An." She grumbled.

"Hey Bel, how are you doing?"

"Fine, besides this stupid project."

I sighed, I knew that she was pissed about the whole thing, as she had a right to be.

"I understand you're mad about it, but what can we do? She won't change the groups."

"I know, but the whole thing is bullshit, why would she put Luke and I together if she knows perfectly well that we don't get along?"

"I don't know, for a challenge? She likes to challenge her best students." I said, hoping it will help her feel better about it.

"Defiantly," she replied sarcastically.  "She probably just hates me and wants to see me fail."

I had to admit, she might have been right- Mrs. Powell had a soft spot for the popular kids, which ended up in her treating all of the others like shit.

"Come on Annie!" Gabs yelled from the next room.

"We're going to film a vid for my channel!"  She said as she walked into the room.  I held up my hand and mouthed "wait".

"Who was that?" Bel asked.

"Oh, just Gabs, we're at Beth's filming right now."

"Oh okay, I'll let you get back to that." She sounded disappointed, but I was glad that she understood how important this was for me.

"Okay bye, call you later."

"Bye." She hung up.

"That wasn't Caspar, was it."

I sighed, Gabriella had always been able to read right through me, I guess that's what best friends are for.

I shook my head no.

"Who was it then?"

"Bel." I said simply, knowing she will understand.

"Oh." She replies softly.

"Well, on a brighter note, were about to film a "Two Truths, One Lie" vid for my channel." She told me.

I put on a halfhearted smile and followed her back into the living room where the filming equipment was.

"3, 2, 1." Troye mouthed before he starting recording.

"Hey guys it's me Gabs here and today I'm with one of my good friends Annie, or Annie's Life on YouTube!" Gabriella opened with her usual intro.  I smiled and said hi.

"So Annie, what are we doing today?"

"We are going to be playing two truths and one lie." I said, trying to be as enthusiastic as possible.

"Okay so let's get started!" Gabs smiled happily.

The video seemed like a blur, Gabs won, causing her to tweet off my Twitter account as my forfeit, but I wasn't really paying attention, I hoped it didn't show.  I was thinking about Isabelle the whole time.  As soon as we finished the video for both of our channels were finished, I walked into the kitchen again and called Isabelle.

"Hey Bel."

"Hey An. Are you done recording?"

"Umm, well yeah." I'd already recorded with Gabriella, Zoe, and Dan.  I guessed that was enough for one night, I only posted once a week.

"Okay, could you maybe come over then?" I looked into the other room, where Alfie, Zoe, Conner, Joe, Troye, Tyler, Dan, Beth, Phil, and Gabs, were vlogging.  While the others popped in and out of everyone's volgs.

"Ummm sure." I said uneasily, I didn't know what the others would think of it.

"Okay cool, what time do you think you could be here?" I checked the time on the clock that hung in Bethany's kitchen, the time read 8:45.  It took about 20 minutes to get to Isabelle's house.

"I'll be there around 9:10."

"Ok, see you then." She said.

"See you." I ended the call and
went back into the living room.  I walked up to Beth.

"I'm so sorry Beth, I forgot that I have a dinner with my sister and parents to meet her new boyfriend." I lied.  Yes my sister Amy did have new boyfriend, but I had been excused from the dinner when I told my parents I was recording.

"Okay An, have a good time!" She smiled.

"I'll try." I laughed as I walked over to Ashton and gave him a kiss goodbye.

"You're not really going home, are you?"  Ash whispered to me.

I smiled and shook my head no.

"Talk to you tomorrow Ash."

"Love you An."

I smiled as I walk to the door and grab my coat.  I waved goodbye as I walked out to my car.
