Chapter Two

"Annyeonghaseyo, eonnie. I am Park Jihyo, the leader of Sunlight." the short haired girl said, greeting happily as another one smiled, her hair short like a boy.

"Hi, my name is Yoo Jeongyeon, the assistant leader of Sunlight. Nice to meet everyone."

The Japanese featured girl moved forward, showing Joohyun and Sojung a gummy smile and shook their hands.

"Annyeonghaseyo, my name is Myoui Mina. Please treat me well." the girl said, as another moved forward, her dimples showing.

"Annyeonghaseyo, my name is Son Chaeyoung. Nice to meet you all!"

Lastly, a girl with a two front teeth like a bunny's moved forward, smiling.

"Annyeonghaseyo, yeoreobun! My name is Im Nayeon, nice to meet all of you!"

The new team smiled, as Yewon and Eunha accompanied them towards the rooms, Yerim gripping Joohyun's hand hard, Joohyun looking at her assistant leader.

"What's the matter, Yerim? What's happening to you? I've noticed you also earlier, is there something wrong?"

"I... She promised not to venture in this lifestyle again. She promised me that she will live a normal life." Yerim asked, her eyes locked unto a tall figure going inside.

"That girl is..." Joohyun trailed off.

"Annyeonghaseyo, my name is--"

"Park Sooyoung." Yerim said, Sooyoung stiffening as she moved backwards, completely shocked.

Yerim walked out of the living room, Sojung and Joohyun sighing as they managed to give a small smile to the three newcomers.

"This is gonna be a long year."

"Yerim?"

Kim Yerim wiped her tears, but more followed afterwards. Glaring at the door of the Leader Room, she grabbed the nearest thing she could grab (in this case a book) and threw it at the door.

"Yerim, it's me, Joohyun. Open the door for me." Joohyun said, as Yerim threw another book.

"Yerimie? Please open the door." Another voice said, calming Yerim in a mysterious way as she stood up and opened the door, revealing the bunny toothed girl from earlier, smiling at Yerim.

"Thank you, Nayeon." Joohyun said, Nayeon nodding and left, Yerim not daring to look at the older.

"Yerim. What is your relationship with Park Sooyoung?" Joohyun said, scaring Yerim as she backed away--

"Let me talk to her, eonnie. Maybe I can get some information." Nayeon said, going back as she heard the commotion.

Joohyun sighed, going out as Nayeon smiled at Yerim, the girl unconsciously smiling back.

"How are you, Yerim?" Nayeon said, Yerim sitting down the bed.

"Sooyoung eonnie is my ex girlfriend of five years, even during my years as a member of Joohyun eonnie's team. We broke up when Joohyun eonnie appointed me as her assistant leader, because I promised to her that we will have a normal life together, just like Jisoo eonnie and Chaeyoung eonnie." Yerim said, and Nayeon could tell that there is something behind what she said.

"Go on, tell anything you want, it's fine. I won't judge you or anything." Nayeon said, Yerim strangely comforted by the act.

"We... We had a fight, and she was drunk back then. We were drunk, but I was still sober to stop her. But she was... She was too strong, too angry for me to stop her. She forced herself to me, and it was a nightmare. I woke up the next day naked, and she was asleep peacefully, as if nothing happened. I... " Yerim trailed off, tears falling as she wiped them hastily.

" Go on. Take your time, sweetheart."

"I left her, and didn't contact her for two weeks. She confronted me two weeks after the accident, and I broke up with her instantly. She begged me to stay, but... But after what she had done, I think I can't face her anymore." Yerim said, as she cried, Nayeon hugging her tight.

"It's alright, Yerim-ah. It's not your fault that she did that. You did so well opening up to me. What do you want to do next?"

"Can... Can you be the one to tell Joohyun eonnie? I... I want to rest and sleep." Yerim said.

"Sure, love. But what about Sooyoung? She is in your team. Do you want to--"

"Can she stay in your team instead? I want you to take her place."

"Sure. We'll talk about it. Rest up, Yerim-ah."

Nayeon sighed, tucking the girl in and closing the door, going inside the living room to see Joohyun anxiously waiting.

"What did she say? Why did she act like that?"

"According to her stories, She and Sooyoung had a past relationship, even before you enlisted her to be your assistant leader. Turns out Yerim promised her that they will quit after your mission with Seulgi sunbaenim back then. Sooyoung got drunk when they were quarreling, and forced herself on Yerim. They broke up after that. "

Joohyun's eyes widened as she heard the news, her eyes darting towards Sooyoung, who was calmly eating lunch.

"You're telling me..."

"Sooyoung raped her. Yes, that's what she told me. She also requested that I should be in her position in your team." Nayeon said, Joohyun now filling up with anger.

"She... Yerim didn't tell me that." Joohyun said, thinking about the bubbly assistant leader, and Park Sooyoung...

Joohyun got up and walked towards Sooyoung, who barely looked up--

Joohyun slapped her, hard, sending her reeling down the floor, Sojung and Sinb rushing to stop Joohyun.

"You monster! Why did you do that to Yerim?!" Joohyun exclaimed, and Sooyoung finally got sense to what Joohyun meant.

"Eonnie... I didn't--"

"Then what was that? Just your drunken mistake? Then what are you doing here? Get out! Get out, I won't accept you in my team!" Joohyun said, pushing Sooyoung away as Sojung prevented the eldest from pushing the girl out, Jihyo guiding Sooyoung to her room.

Sojung was truly shocked at the eldest leader's behavior, as she hadn't seen Joohyun act like that, and she overheard Joohyun and Nayeon's conversation earlier, hearing what happened to Sooyoung.

"Get her out. Make her leave. I don't want her here." Joohyun said, clearly angry as Yewon rubbed her back, calming her.

"You should talk to the President about that, eonnie." Sojung said, Jihyo surprised as they didn't even try to stop the eldest.

"But what--"

"I'll talk to Yong Sun today. Jeongyeon, come with me." Joohyun said.

"Why didn't you try to stop her from ousting Sooyoung from the team?" Jihyo said, the others chuckling while Yewon sighed.

"Joohyun eonnie doesn't like people who hurt her or her friends, especially the people very close to her. She wants the best for everyone, even if she couldn't give the best for herself." Yewon explained, Jihyo nodding as she sat down.

"Then who is Kang Seulgi?" Jihyo asked, Yewon hesitating to answer--

"I'll tell who Kang Seulgi eonnie is." Yerim said, her eyes swollen and puffy, as she got down the second floor and to the living room, ready to tell the story of Kang Seulgi and Bae Joohyun.
