Chapter 2

I woke up from a noise. It was my alarm. I pressed snooze and got up. I popped into the shower and washed my hair. I got out and put my undergarments on. I walked to my wardrobe (i am British remember) and looked to see what i could wear. I got out my black shorts and my black top with my friends and my name on it. I popped them on and tucked my shirt into my shorts. I then got out my white Jc Caylen hoodie. I slipped that over my head and put my arms through the holes. I put my white vans on and got a black bow and pinned my side fringe backwards. I applied my makeup and looked myself in the mirror. Eh. I got my bag and walked downstairs. I had a glass of milk and sat in the living room. The door bell rang. I got up but mom was there before me. She opened the door and i heard her let someone in. "Rose honey he is here!" She said. I could hear she was smiling. Why? I dunno. I got up with my bag and walked out. Wow now i see why she was smiling. A boy was standing there wearing shorts that went to his knees, a black top and a snapback. He looked hot. A smile grew on his face when he laid eyes on me. I walked over to them and gave my mom a hug and left the house. I put my phone in my back pocket and followed the boy to his car. He opened the door for me and i thanked him. He closed the door and went to the other side of the car and got in. We did our seat belts and he started the engine. "So tell me about yourself" he said. "Erm well I'm Primrose Mendes but please call me Rose. I just moved here from England where i am originally from. I am an only child. I am 17 and my birthday is in September" i said quickly. "Wow don't wanna know your fricking life story!" He said. I looked down at my shoes. "I was joking!!" He said laughing. I laughed with him. He had a cute laugh. "So what about you?" I said looking out the window admiring the city. "Well, my name is Ryland Lynch. I am also 17. I have 3 brothers and 1 sister. We argue a lot but we love each other. I'm the youngest. And my birthday is in April" he said "wow 5 siblings !"
"Yeah i know! We are here now by the way" he said pulling up to a parking lot. We both got out and he was greeted by loads of boys. I guess he is popular. They were talking a lot and I didn't want to interrupt. I walked towards the school. Might as well find my own way to the front office. Then i heard my name. I turned around and Ryland was jogging towards me. "Why did you leave?" He said trying to catch his breath. "I though you was gonna stay with them so i left" i said starting to wall. He then walked as well beside me. "Why would i leave you on your first day?" He said smiling. I giggled. We walked for a bit until we got to the office. "Okay well then i guess i will see you around!" Ryland said "okay thanks Ryland" i said waving. He waved back and walked off to his friends. I opened the door into the office and went to the desk. "Hello" the nice lady said. "Hello, I'm Primrose Mendes and this is my first day" i said.
"Ahh yeah Primrose Louise Mendes. Nice to meet you. Right here you go. This your timetable, planner and a small map to go in you planner if you get lost. People here judge you if they see you with a map so keep it in your planner so they think your reading your planner" she said winking. "Okay thank you" i walked out and looked at my first lesson. Math. Room 348. Where the hell is that? The bell rang and the corridors were empty. Except for some students. I looked at the map in my planner and saw it was on the other side of the school. Great. I followed the directions on the map. After which felt like 30 minutes, i found the room. I put my planner in my bag and walked in. All eyes were on me. The teacher stopped talking and said, "can i help you?" I closed the door. "I'm the new student" i said quietly. "Ahh Primrose Mend..."
"Just Rose" I interrupted her. She gave me an evil glare. I looked down at my shoes. "Go sit down at the back by Ryland now" Wait Ryland? I looked up and saw Ryland smiling. "NOW i said!!" The teacher shouted. I started walking and i said "gosh calm down. Your wrinkles might run away!" Quietly so she wouldn't hear. The whole class burst out laughing. I walked to my seat and placed my bag on the table and i sat beside Ryland who was still laughing. "Everybody quiet!!!!!!!" She shouted. She got her point stick and started walking down the rows. She walked past me. I heard her footsteps stop behind me. He whacked my table with her point stick which made me jump and whispered in my ear "you better watch out dear. Think before you speak in front of me" then she walked back in front of the class. I couldn't stop smirking. "Way to go!" Ryland whispered in my ear. "Was it that funny?" I whispered back.
"Hilarious plus no-one really stands up to that teacher. She is the strictest teacher in the school"
"Wow" i said. Then turned back to what the teacher was saying.
