Chapter 17

I got out of bed and had a shower. I threw on some skinny black jeans and a light blue crop top. I put on some black wedge hightop sneakers which had gold zips on them.

I grabbed my bag and went downstairs and in the kitchen. Rydel and Riker was sitting at the table. "Morning" I said. "Morning!!" Only Rydel replied. I went to look through the cupboards to see if we have anything.

Then I heard someone come through the door. Warm, strong arms snaked around my waist and pulled me closer to him. Rocky. Of course. I carried on looking through the cupboards.

"Morning gorgeous" he said.
"Why do you always do that?"
"Do what?"
"Hug me from behind and then say 'morning gorgeous'?"
"Because I know you like it when I hug you from behind. Also you need to be reminded every morning that you're gorgeous"
I giggled a bit and blushed.

"I was think to skip school today and us go somewhere together?" I asked Rocky.
"No, you missed a week of school last week so your gonna be in school! Okay?!" Rocky said.
"Alright fine" I said giving in.
"I am older so I need to be a good influence on you"
"Wow" I said laughing.
"It's true!" He exclaimed. "Come on, school" he continued.

I said my goodbyes to Rydel while Riker just ignored me. Me and Rocky got into his car and he started the ignition.
"What's up with you and Riker?" Rocky asked.
"Erm I dunno. He has been acting like this ever since yesterday morning" I replied.
"Oh right"

He parked up in the parking lot. "Have a good day in school!" He said. I gave him a glare. I leaned over and pecked him on the lips and got out the car.

Everyone was looking at me, smiling and waving. At me? What is going on? I waved to rocky and he zoomed off. Once I got into school, smiles were bombed onto me.

I got to my friends and asked them "why is everyone smiling at me?"
"We don't know" Livia said. A boy walked past me smiling.

"Hey you!" I tried to get his attention.
"Me?!" He said.
"Yes you!"
He walked over to me trying to act cool.
"Why is everyone smiling at me?"
"You don't know?!"
"Nah I know I'm just asking for fun" I said sarcastically. "Of course I don't know!"
"Aha just messing with you! But erm I can't tell you sorry"
"Why?"

Then he walked off. What the hell!!!! The bell wet and I rushed to class. I saw that everyone tried to act like they don't know me and trying not to smile.

Once I got to class everyone was in but no teacher. I got loads of greets and waves. I quickly sat down.

"You look lost without Megann" I told Ryland.
"We ... Er... We broke up" he said.
"Oh, I-I'm so sorry. I didn't know"
"No no it's okay it's not your fault. She cheated on me"

The day went by and it was the last lesson. The bell went and everyone rushed out. "Rose could you stay behind please?" The teacher said. I nodded and sat back down.

Once everyone was gone the teacher said, "okay I know how kind and helpful you are so could you put all of these book in alphabetical order while I go to a meeting?"

"Sure" I said. She ran out and there was like 100 books! I sighed and rubbed my hands together. I better get started.

After what felt like 5 years, I finally finished. It looked really dark outside. I checked the time and it was 8:15. I got my bag and walked out the classroom. There was loads of red petals on the floor. Do I follow them?

I followed them anyway. They led out the school to a car with a man in a suit. I walked up to him. "Rose Mendes?" He asked. I nodded. He opened the door for me and I got in. He closed the door for me and got in the other side of the car.
