Her face turned white as she stared up at me. She made me a hesitant glance and stood up, shielding her shoulder with her palm. She freed her arm and let her hand fall down near her waist pulling out her dagger she let the blade flow down to the twigs and rocks. Her face made my bones freeze. I take another arrow and loaded my bow.

"Odelia soldier, identify your business get lost." I state pulling my arrow back and enjoying the tenseness.

"Who do you assume you are to address me, archer?" Her comments broke out with several winces. I grin and provide a heavy laugh.

"I'm the woman with an arrow at your skull, soldier." It came out smooth and secured. I admire that. Her face fell and so did her weapon. Her legs quickly gave out, and she was kneeling on the scrape. I could hear more feet clomping down deeply into the wood. I walk backward and focus my bow toward the commotion. The rustling came closer each second until it ceased. I could sense the adrenaline peace through my nerves. I tried taking great breathes, but all that occurred out were sharp and eager puffs.

"Ayeth," I could hear through the brush and green. I observed as a figure loomed out of the shrubs, thrusting back vines from his face. I fired. Unwillingly, I fired. The man fled to one side, barley missing my arrow. Not meaning to brag, but I am the best archer in Burden Ridge. This person had to be skilled, or he's-

"Jaymes!" I wailed, releasing my bow and tripping over toward him. His face strained and caught my arm and tugged my body behind him. I view as he gathers his blade in front of him, slowly walking toward the solder. I watched the solder crawl away, slowly making small whimpering cries.

I stiffened my grasp on Jaymes' palm and yanked him a little. He searched back at me, skimming up and down my skeleton, studying for a substantial issue.

"Ayeth, what is it? Did the solder hurt you?" He disputes with his strong and serious expression in his eyes. I rattle my head peering at the solder, who was shuddering uncontrollably. I lent him an expression that explained the full story. He crammed his sword back and kneeled down near the solder. She rushed a slight and tears gushed down her face.

"Not so talkative now, are we?" I request and Jaymes shoots me a glimpse. I sigh as he sets the solder up and commenced striding backward to Burden Ridge.

Near the entrance, I scanned around searching for any trace of people. Thankfully, everyone seemed to be at the crowning, so getting back inside the gates wasn't an issue. I ushered Jaymes and the solder up the tower to my bedroom. Once in the security of my castle, Jaymes sets the solder on my bed and threw her a sneering face.

"Ayeth, reside here. I'm getting Meriall." He commands, waltzing out and down the three flights of stairs.

"You're no archer." I shift around and see the solder shove the arrow further until it broke out the other side. "Little help?" she demands, requiring me to separate the arrow.

"Do you have any idea who you're speaking to?" I ask dumbfounded she would even seek me to aid. Considering our kingdoms are mortal blood shedding enemies. She just nodded slowly. I have never been so disparaged in my life. I strode over to her and snapped the arrow in half and jerking it out of her grazing. She howled in misery. Woops. Jaymes bursted through the door with a healer and Meriall.

"Princess, are you okay?" He calls for, recognizing our relation had to be covered to only him and I. I nod and give him a smirk.

"Milady, you've been gone for three hours," Meriall says coldly. "And you're not decent. Get out, before Knight Jaymes and our healer is forced to see you like this." Her words struck me through the spirit. It was the scolding way she said my "indecent." It was like blades in through my heart.
