The begining of a Peerage

Y/n POV

I picked up the king evil piece in my hand and it went straight into my chest. I saw the others each pick one up, Samantha grabbing the queen, and they went into their chests.

As soon as it went into my chest through I had felt the powers of a devil again.

I looked at Lucifer.

Y/n; thank you for doing this

Lucifer: your welcome. I will inform my sister of your challenge. How long do you suppose you all have to prepare?

Y/n: depends on what they say. If they leave it to us, I'd say about a week will do

Lucifer; noted. I will be off

I saw a devil rune appear under him and he disappeared with it.

I smirked. Rias will want time to prepare. So we have time.

Time skip

We haven't heard anything yet about the my challenge to Rias, so we were training outside with spears and clubs.

Then I heard a loud roar.

I saw the source, a Rex chasing a Hyaeodon with a kid on its back, a bit away.

The kid, from the distance we were at, seemed to have a lot of injuries and the Hyaeodon wasn't faring much better.

So I dropped the spear, transforming and running out towards the two and the rex.

I jumped onto the Rex's back, before I started claws away the stomach flesh.

I roared in pain and tried to get me off, but cause of its short ass arms and big ass jaw, it was completely unsuccessful.

Soon though I managed to claws into its chest, which I started stabbing organs and breaking ribs.

It tried to fight back, but was to weak and seen fell over dead.

I jumped out of if, cause I was inside of its chest claws and biting stuff.

I transformed back before walking to the two.

The Hyaeodon had been replaced by another boy, much older than the kid, and the kid had two antenna on his head.

This meant they were both half creatures.

I walked towards them but the older boy had claws.

???: don't come near us!

I kept walking towards them.

His fear grew.

???: I said st-

I grabbed his arms and forced them away from the other.

Y/n: I'm trying to help you guys. Now where did you come from?

???: s-scorched earth

So they're from an Ark, like the others. They had been to a few, including scorched earth.

Y/n: desert?

He nodded.

I let go of his arms and checked on the smaller boy.

He looked young, very young.

I put my fingers on his wrist and felt a very weak pulse.

Y/n: this kid will die soon

???: no!

I looked towards him, raised an eyebrow.

???: please save him!
