I'm currently in my office and I'm signing some stuff I was suppose to leave about 2 hours ago Alex is gonna kill me

"Mr. Jones"
"yes India"
"I brought you some coffee you looked tired" she said passing me the cup "thanks" I said drinking a bit of the coffee

I got done signing papers and by this time it was going on 1:30 which means I was supposed to leave 3 hours ago, man I sign papers slow
On the way out the door India stopped me

"Mr. Jones" she yelled

"I just wanted to tell you goodbye"

I went to the fridge and seen she got pizza, I also seen she ate over half the box but pregnant people gotta eat right
I went to the bedroom and seen she had a picture of the baby ultrasound

"shit how did I forget my own child ultrasou-.... " I went quiet when I seen two heads
I seen a note on Alex's stand

I went in the shower and in the middle of the shower the note came to my mind and the only words that came with it was you said you were gonna be there with me everstep of the way I slid my hands down my face steping out the shower putting on my close

I sat at the island in the middle eating my pizza as she came down stairs grabbing her keys off the island walking away "where you going" "umm stars for a few" "can I come" I said putting the rest of the pizza in the fridge "I guess" she said walking out the door

The car was completely silent except the soft music playing in the back ground and her juggling the keys around still keeping her eyes on the road
I'm looking out the window thinking about our relationship, we went from I love you to silent treatments I know I'm in the wrong but am I really ready to tell her and if I was to say something how would I say it

The conversation down stairs
