Alex and Raillery spent the rest of the day together. And to everyone's surprise, they seemed happy with each other. They both were very aware of their past, but neither cared. They loved being around each other.

Since the 8th grade, Alex wanted to admit that she wanted Raillery back, but she couldn't because she was afraid of what people might think if they find out why the friendship ended and why she wanted her back. But now, Alex could admit that.

And as for Raillery, well she always wanted to be with Alex, her best friend, her sister by heart. She didn't know where she went wrong back then but she knows now. Alex didn't want the same thing she did at the time. Raillery always knew she was different, and so did Alex. But when things took a turn and Raillery told Alex another secret of hers, Alex didn't want to accept it.

Everyone was stunned when they threw away their problems as easy as they did. They didn't mind it though. When they made up, it was as if the Alex side to Raillery was pulled out of her and the Raillery side of Alex was pulled out. They immediately had qualities of their own and of each other. Neither complained about each other to others in the class, but clearly loud enough for the other to hear. What nobody knew though, was that was their secret game. They both thought they were offending each other but both laughed about it later.

Instead of laughing about each other secretly, they laughed at the stupid things together. Mr. Light knew they were talking during the movie he put on, but he didn't care, as long as they weren't screaming or fighting, he was smiling. He knew their parents, so he knew about their problems and what not. They both had a soft spot for him, they always listened to him ever since they were little and he would come visit Raillery's mom.

Everybody was watching the movie, except Raillery and Alex. They were seated all the way in the back talking. Cassidy was listening to the conversation, and they knew that, they just didn't care. Cassidy was happy to see her friend genuinely happy again. She always knew that Alex wasn't complete without Raillery, but Alex didn't know she knew. She didn't think it was that obvious.

"So do you still live on Blair Street?" Alex asked "Yeah, my mom doesn't like it there, so we are trying to move. But i like it there. It's like all my memories are there. That house is my memory lane." Raillery replied "I wanna move out. My mom says it would be bad since i'm only gonna be 18 in two weeks. But i hate it at home. I already found an apartment, it's up on Clay Avenue. It's a big one too." Alex said excitedly.

"You always have good things because of your dad" Raillery complained "Yeah, but i don't really like all the money. It makes people who don't know me think i'm some snotty bitch when they see me or hear about my dad. So i don't take the money he offers. I've got a job as a cook in a care hoe down the street." "You were always good at cooking" they laughed.

The bell rang interrupting their conversation. And Raillery thought the look on everyone's face was priceless when they walked into their next class together smiling and laughing. She looked at Alex who knew what she was thinking when she did. They started laughing uncontrollably at the fact that people thought this was weird. But they had to admit, it did feel a bit weird, but they ignored that.

"Ok class- whoa!" Mrs. Raspberry was shocked to see Raillery and Alex happily sitting next to each other. There was no seating chart so she wasn't expecting that to happen. Everyone laughed. "So today i'm just going to put on a movie. You can choose from The Bee Movie, All Dogs Go To Heaven, or Madagascar." Before anyone could say anything, Alex screamed "Madagascar!" making everyone laugh. "Then its decided" she took the movie disc out of the box and into the projector, then pressed play.

The teacher shook her head as she walked away. "Damn girls." she muttered.
