There was this post I saw on pinterest where once she became headmistress, Minerva Mcgonagall started a program where students could stay over summer.
What if it happened while Harry was at school ? His mother's charm would still be effective because Mcgonagall is related to his mother.
Just bear with me one this one, what if Luna came to Hogwarts in the summer before her first year ?
I also feel that Luna and Harry would have bonded like brother and sister.
Luna would discuss all sorts of theories with Harry who at first would be sceptical, but then he would gradually add his own opinion like to her ideas and they'd just create a whole new branch of experimentation and prove the existence of Nargles and Wrackspurts.
