Okay, here's your headcanon; Luna Lovegood is Garrick Ollivander's granddaughter.
If you think over it, it'll make sense. (As much sense as it can make in the world of fanfiction). They both have that 'Not quite here' attitude and unsettling silver/grey eyes.
Plus, we never did get much canon info 'bout Luna's mom.
