Annilie is a month old. Ricky was released from jail three days ago. Tara-Leigh is in complete agony about it, fearing that he will take her back. The doorbell rings and I open it only to see him.

"What are you doing here? Get out." I tell him. He chuckles.

"I only wish to see my grandaughter and her mother." He says.

"You are not going anywhere near Annilie." I remain calm, knowing how he has anger issues.

"Too late. Why don't you go check on your precious daughter." My blood freezes. Before I know it, my fist connects with his face. He stumbles back.  Blood leaks out of his nose. Mum runs into the house, holding Annilie to her chest.
"Trojan! Are you okay? What is he doing here? Sorry I was late, there was traffic."  Mum stammers. I wrap my arms around my baby.
"Mummy was so scared, baby girl. You know that Mumma will never let any one hurt you. Mumma loves you." I kiss her forehead and she giggles. To think that made her. That she's my daughter. It shocks me still. She's so beautiful. My flesh and blood. My baby girl.

Mum calls 999 and the police arrive. Since he apparently didn't do anything wrong, we can't press charges.

"Trojan! Are you okay? Is Annilie okay?" Chris wraps his arms around me. I inhale his scent.

"We're fine. Dinner's almost ready it'll be out in a minute." I give my fiance a peck on the lips and grab the food. Chris sits down on the couch and picks up Annilie. She smiles and giggles at his goofy faces. He is such a good dad. I couldn't have asked for a better man to marry (Well, aside from Ashton Irwin and Luke Hemmings.)

We lay down in bed and I turn on my side, exhausted. He wraps his arms around my waist, and I close my eyes.
