"Uncle George!" Julian yelled. He grabbed James's hand and pulled him along.
George twirled me around and set me down, kissing my cheek.
"It's so good to see you Geo!" I smiled, looking him over. "Still looking good."
"Yeah? I can definitly say the same about you love." He winked. I giggled and looked over as Julian walked over to him, nudging James ahead.
"And who may this be?" George asked, kneeling down. I smiled and walked over to them.
"Remember the bun in the oven I had a few years ago? Well, this is the loaf." I laughed. "His name is James."
George smiled at me, knowing who I named him after. "Do ye still keep in touch?"
I shook my head. "No. Not anymore."
He nodded and began chatting with the boys. I was relieved to see them all getting along. Goofing around, laughing and catching up.
Soon, the others called him along on stage as people outside cheered like crazy. I giggled as he kissed my cheek, holding me close.
"Later when the boys go to bed, come down to mine." He whispered in my ear. I nodded and smiled.
"Put on a good show babe." I teased. He smacked my bum and winked before walking away on stage.
..
The concert was finished and the musicians were putting their intruments away. The boys loved coming along and getting to watch free shows. But when it came to waiting around afterwards and waiting for me to finish up my reviews, they were exhausted.
George came over and smiled, looking at me.
"Look at you. Beautiful mother. Your hair is blonde again. Ye look like Sharon Tate."
I laughed. "Yeah well, let's just hope I dont get slaughtered. Help me yeah?" I asked, he chuckled and held Julian in his arms as I stood up, making my way to the back.
"You all stayin at the same hotel?" He asked. I nodded.
"Yup. Free of charge. Courtesy of Rolling Stone." I smirked. He laughed and followed me to my car.
"Wouldnt you rather be out with the rest, living it up and taking advantage of all the young groupies?"
"Why want amatuers when I have a professional right here?" He winked and got into the passengers seat. I blushed and set the boys in the back, getting into the front.
When we got back to the hotel, I put the boys to sleep and snuck out, meeting George out into the hallway. He smiled and reached for my hand.
"It's been so long." He pulled me against him and kissed my jawline. I melted at his touch.
"Too long."
We made our way down the hall to the privacy of his room.
..
"I never thought I'd see you again." I said stroking his hair. His lips kissing my neck as I layed back on the bed.
"You're still so beautiful." He mumbled between kisses. I giggled and pulled away.
"George?"
"Yes love?"
"I've missed you. I mean really really missed you. Being away from all my old friends...not hearing from anyone in such a long time.."
"I know how you feel. After the band broke up, we all became so distant. I still see Richard now and then. The others well, they seem to be doing their own thing..." He trailed off. I stroked the side of his face and smiled.
