Hope's P.O.V

As I dragged Ivy and Xavier up the steps my mind filled with questions. Was I finally going to get the answers i've been looking for? Ivy's weirder than Luna sometimes and that's really saying something. I mean she doesn't go on about Nargles or anything like that but she disappears frequently, she doesn't go home over summer holidays only during winter holidays, and I SWEAR I'VE SEEN HER WITH A DAGGER!

When I reached the top of the stairs I said, "Ivy you better answer at least this question. Are you a werewolf?" She just laughed at me. I found that really really odd. I've accused people of being werewolves before and most of the time they are either offended or they punch me. "No i'm not a werewolf cabrona! Mi dioses...." I hate when she speaks in Spanish. All I know is she was probably swearing at me.

We reached the top of the Astronomy tower and I transfigured two telescopes into chairs. I pushed Ivy into one and Xavier in the other and proceed to sit on the arm rest.

"Ivy if your not a werewolf what are you?" I asked. She got panicked at this question and took almost 4 minutes to answer it.

"I can't tell you what exactly I am. It's complicated..." she sighed. "But I can tell you that i've been going back to my summer camp. A lot of things are going down right now and I have to be there. I can't give you anymore details. Sorry."

After that she got up and left. Now that I think about it her voice has been almost consumed by a New York accent. But i'm still so freakin confused. She left me with so, so, so many questions and almost no answers.

She said she's been going back to her summer camp but how does she get back there? It's in New York! It's 3000 miles over the Atlantic Ocean! I glanced at the clock on the wall. Oh crap, I'm gonna be late to class!

As I sat in class listening to Professor Slughorn go on and on about the benefit of a good potion, my eyes can't help but wander to Ivy, causing my mind to wander to my questions from earlier. I mean seriously, what is she?! I swear she has to have mastered wandlesss magic or something because she summons water out of nowhere when she thinks no one is looking. As I turned back to Slughorn I noticed writing on the board. Potion instructions. Oh no... I mentally scream at myself for not listening to him as he talked. Why? Because I have no idea what he just said or what i'm supposed to do now.

I opened my book  and turned it to page 394. Per the instructions I took out the hemlock and began chopping it up. After I added it to my cauldron I added the cats tounges and and the toad hearts. I started stirring the potion as my mind wandered yet again.

(A/n) oof. I am not writing from Hope's POV again. I had so many ideas for this chapter at first but then I got seriously un inspired. Sorry this is so short! It's 555 words. Better luck next time. Peace out my dolphins 🐬🐬🐬
