(Ginny pov)

I woke up to a scream and heavy breathing. I couldn't tell who it was at first, looking around in the dark. Someone then got the bright idea to cast Lumos to see who it was.

I turn my head in the direction of heavy breathing. It was Ivy, although she didn't quite seem aware that she had yelled.

"Oi Ivy! Are you okay?" I called out to her.

"I don't know, " she replied, still breathing heavily.

"What happened? Bad dream?"

"Yeah. But it was more like a nightmare though."

"Can I help at all?"

"Not really, but thanks for asking." She looked around the room searching for something, but I wasn't sure what. "Does anyone know what time it is? I think my clock is wrong." She called out into the dorm.

"It's a quarter to six," Someone whom I couldn't recognize in the dark responded.

In the dim wand light, I saw Ivy get out of bed. Putting on a robe and slippers, she left the dorm for the common room.

I must've fallen asleep again because the next thing I knew, I was waking up to sunlight streaming in through the window. Yawning, I got out of bed. I got dressed and headed for the common room. It must've been about 9 o'clock because almost everyone had returned from breakfast and was in the common room. My stomach rumbled, signaling I was hungry. Speaking of breakfast, I missed it.

I headed down the stairs to find Harry, Hermonie, and Ron sitting together on a couch.

"Hey guys," I said sitting on the couch opposite my brother

"Look who's finally awake," Ron said in a teasing voice.

"Oh hush, you've slept in later." I retorted.

"Hey Gin," Harry said. "You missed breakfast this morning so I grabbed you something. I figured you'd be hungry." he handed me a delicious-looking pastry which I quickly ate.

"Thanks, Harry," I said shyly.

Ron shot us a dirty look so I glared at him. He quickly looked away in fear of being hexed.

"Ron, have you finished your transfiguration essay yet?" Hermonie asked.

"No," he responded.

"Ron!" She exclaimed exasperatedly. "It's due tomorrow!"

"Oi mate," Harry said, "Even I've finished it."

Ron muttered something under his breath that sounded like "show-off."

I rolled my eyes at my brother. He was such an idiot sometimes. Hermonie started a combination of lecturing and nagging Ron for not doing his homework. I zoned out not caring. After about 10ish minutes I got up and walked off.

Walking around, I ended up on the other side of the common room talking with some girls in my year. I listened to them gossip about Professor Trewleny. I never paid attention in my divination class. All that mattered was me getting a good grade and passing.

"She's obviously a fake," the first girl said.

"I know right?" the second girl exclaimed. "She's predicted my death at least three different times! Different ways each time too."

"I think she predicted my death once," I said

"How'd she say you would die?" A third girl asked, joining the conversation.

"Um, I think she said I'd die by way of the unforgivable curses. Honestly, I think she's full of crap." I said

"Ooh, I have a good one. I wasn't in her class when she said this though, I heard it from my sister. Trewleny apparently said Harry was born in midwinter! Can you believe it?!" The second girl said.

"Harry? As in Harry Potter?" I exclaimed in disbelief.

"Yeah!" she said.

"Anyone who's not an idiot knows he was born in July!" I said

"Trewleny is obviously a huge fraud. Why'd dumbledore even hire her??" The first girl asked

"Who knows," The third girl responded.

"I think they're all idiots," I said.

"I agree." one of the girls said.

"Same here," another girl responded.

The conversation dwindled until only a few of us were left. I decided to search for Hermonie. I found her with Harry and Ron. She was still nagging Ron about doing his homework on time. Ron was scribbling on parchment, writing what I could only assume to be his transfiguration essay. Harry was sitting in a nearby chair reading what looked like the quibbler.

As I got closer, I noticed it was a copy of the quibbler, which is run by Luna's dad. It's normally filled with a bunch of weird articles. Those are usually about how to find animals that don't exist. There have been a few good articles though. One was the interview with Harry.

I got closer and decided to sit down next to him. Ron shot me a dirty look but I ignored it. Harry turned to look at me.

"Hey Gin," he started.

"Hi," I responded.

"Whatcha up to?" he asked

"Nothing really just-"

I was cut off by a blue blurb rushing past me quickly.

"Ivy!?" I exclaimed as I realized it was her.

She turned to face me as she continued to walk away, now walking backward.

"Can't talk now, gotta run!" She turned back around and disappeared up the steps to the girls' dorm.

I turned back to Harry. "I should probably see what that's about. Sorry, Harry!"

My heart started racing as I ran up the steps. I opened the door to our dorm and saw Ivy standing there. She held up something to the window. It looked like a wand with a crystal on the end.

"Ivy?" I called out.

A beam of sparkly light appeared. She stepped through and disappeared.
