Chapter 3: Back to Hogwarts

Ivy P.O.V.

"Thanks mum!" I shout back to her as I push my trunk towards the platforms at Kings Cross Station in London. Just like always, filled with Muggles and people from The Wizarding world alike. Gods it's crowded - so crowded I nearly run into at least 3 other people.

As I stop in front of the barrier between platforms 9 and 10 I check my watch. It's 10:45 (am obviously) 15 minutes until the train leaves. I go through a check list in my head to make sure I didn't forget anything. "Ok books check, wand check, robes check, Jewel (my owl) check. imparter check, dagger check, bow and arrows check. It looks like I have everything I need. OMGs do I have my drachmas and galleons?!"

Currently I'm going through my trunk like a crazy person. "Ok" I sigh "I have my coins." As I look through the pouch I also find €50 in Muggle money. Why does my mom always do that I don't know.

I check my watch again, it's now 10:50 (am obviously) I better get on the train or else there won't be anywhere to sit. I look both ways to ensure I won't run into anyone and I push my cart straight into the barrier between the platforms . I arrive on platform 9&3/4 and quickly headed for the train. Not even 3 minutes later I find Luna, Ginny, and a few other kids from our year in a compartment.

"Hey guys! Is it ok if I sit with you?" I ask. "Everywhere else Is full."

Ginny speaks next.

"Sure Ivy! How was your summer? I'm curious because I didn't any letters from you!"

"Sorry about that! Busy summer." I say.

Draco P.O.V. (Surprise! ;)I have plans for the rest of this chapter)

I walk to the compartment where my cousin*, The Weasley-ete, and that half blood girl sit. I decided to play truth or dare with Crabbe, Goyle, and Pansy. Looking back on it I don't know why I agreed to play. Pansy dared me to ask out that half-blood girl, Ivy. Honestly she's strange. It's not just me who thinks that. She has some of the highest marks in her year, but she has a strange obsession with darkness and water.

I kept walking to her compartment because a dares a dare. Besides I've seen the way she looks at me she obviously fancies me! I reach the compartment door and open it. "What do you want Malfoy? The Weasley-ete asks.

"Simple." I reply. I turn and face Ivy who's sitting across from her. "Ivy, I want you to go out with me."

Her eyes then become very wide as she gets up. "Malfoy," She starts by grabbing my wrist. "There is no way in tartarus will I go out with you!" She says twisting my arm around before knocking me to the floor.

I then see all 3 of them trying not to laugh. I must have made a lot of noise because people in neighboring compartments open the doors to see what's going on.

"One of my friends taught me that move. And no you don't know her." I groan and try to get up. Ivy kicks my neck not only knocking the wind out of me, but also pushing me on the ground again.

"Just remember Malfoy, I can end you quickly." She says ominously. I get up and quickly go back to where I was sitting before.

Ginny P.O.V.

Ivy and I were talking about our summers when Draco opened the door. He had that same smug grin he always has which just makes me want to punch him. I shot him a glare

"What do you want Malfoy?" I ask him.

"Simple," he responded. I shot him another glare. He then turned to Ivy. "Ivy I want you to go out with me." I turned to look at Ivy. She got up and grabbed his wrist starting to say something.

"Malfoy, There is no way in tartarus will I go out with you!" She said to him while twisting his arm. She then knocks him to the ground.

I start to laugh and so do Ivy and Luna. I just now realized Luna wasn't reading her copy of the Quibbler. Malfoy tried to get up and before I can process anything, Ivy kicked his neck and said something I couldn't hear. Other people came out of the compartments to see what was happening. Malfoy runs off and Ivy comes and sits back down.

"Ok two things," I exclaimed. One, that was awesome! Two, We're almost at hogwarts. We should probably get out robes on."

We all just got off the train and are now headed towards the horseless carriages. I know that they aren't actually horseless because in third year Ivy told me that they weren't horseless and they were pulled by thestrals. At the time I had no idea what they were so I had to look it up. I just like thinking of them as horseless because I can't see them. I still don't know why Ivy can see them if they can only be seen by people who've witnessed and processed death.

I turn so I'm looking out the window and I stop thinking about the thestrals as hogwarts comes into view. "Who's going to be the new DADA teacher this year?" I wonder aloud.

"I dunno," Ivy responds. I notice that she's tossing a gold coin, probably a galleon, in the air and catching it. "Who ever it is has to be better than Umbitch! I got detention 6 times in a month last year." She half yelled.

"I agree whoever it is has to be better. She was a total UGH... I don't think words can really describe how much I hated her." I said. "All I want right now is food, I'm hungry. Blimey! I sound like Ron!" I exclaim. Ivy started laughing while trying to respond.

"Ha! Not only do you sound like Ron you sound like Percy!" She nearly fell out of her seat laughing.

I start to get confused "Percy isn't in love with food like Ron is. What do you mean?" I ask her.

"Not your Percy, my Percy." She says finally having stopped laughing. I must have still had the confused look on my face because she said,

"Percy Jackson? My older brother? Lives in Manhattan?"

"Ohh now I remember!" I exclaimed. "Don't you visit him every summer?"

"I do," was Ivy's response. "Every summer I go to camp and he's a councilor there. I always make fun of him for his obsession with blue food. His girlfriend does too."

"It sounds like you have a lot of fun visiting your brother. Ooh! Look we're finally here! I don't care what you say but I still want food!" With that we exited the carriage and headed in the castle towards the great hall.
