Chapter Two

------------------------

Many things run through my head as my mate is kissing me. He knows I'm an Omega, will he reject me after this? Will he look at me with disgust? Or will he mark me right here? My mate backs away, looking at me with concern. Though his eyes show one emotion I can tell there's something else there, hidden. It doesn't look as though it revolved around this situation. With that I continue to look into his eyes, looking for the answers I seek. When I don't find them I'm completely surprised.

"What's wrong, Little mate?" he finally breaks the silence, concern in his voice.

I start to feel sharks shooting throughout my body, this is what it feels like to be touched by your mate, "Are you going to reject me?" Probably not the best thing to ask, but oh well. I may as well throw caution to the wind now.

His eyebrows scrunch in the middle of his forehead while his eyes become dark, "Why would I do that?"

"You're an Alpha... I'm an Omega. Do I seem as though I'm Luna material?" With that my mate gets more infuriated and his eyes are completely black.

"Whether you're an Omega or not, you would make a perfect Luna. I can already tell, don't worry," I look at him with soft eyes, why did he have to be so perfect? I nod, not knowing what to say I get a little closer to him and smile. His eyes start to go back to normal when he feels my touch, "What is your name, my beautiful mate?"

I grin at him, I love my name, it always brings me joy when someone says it, "Antheia, you're Alexander, correct?"

"You have a very stunning name and yes, though many just call me Alex," Butterflies flutter in my stomach when he rubs his thumb on my cheek. "Shall we go down stairs?"

With that I'm leading him down the stairs and to our parents. They seem to be enjoying each others company, laughter fills the kitchen. Their eyes land on us then they land on our connected hands, they start to notice how close we are to each other and smile. Alpha Beck seems a little angered, I don't know what for exactly. I feel Alex stiffen, I look at him and see that his eyes are glazed over, he tightens his hold on me. Looking back at the alpha I see his eyes are also glazed over meaning they're mind-linking about something.

Alex turns me to him with sadness all over his face, "I have to talk to my father in private, I'll be right back." I nod and they walk out of the kitchen, not before Alpha Beck gives my a look that I can't really understand.

Luna Ella clears her throat and smiles, "So. You're my sons mate? You're quite beautiful I must say."

"Thank you, Luna Ella," I'm starting to feel awkward but, it will have to do for now.

"Oh don't be so shy, just call me Ella," I nod and go to stand near my mother as she grabs supplies for dinner. "Will you be making dinner with us, Antheia?"

I open my mouth, but my mothers voice comes out, "No, she will be setting up the table."

I look at her and nod while starting to getting the dishes and gold wear. We can't use silver wear since it'll hurt us, though I guess we could have got fake silver wear. Mother thought gold was best so, we went with gold. I set up 5 plates, 2 on either side of the table for the Alpha and Luna, 2 on the left side where my mother and I will sit, and 1 on the right for Alex. I know I should have put mine by Alex, but that wouldn't be exactly appropriate, another time though. My mind drifts, will I be moving into their house no? Maybe the Alpha and Luna will let me. The smell of mint hits my nose and pulls me out of me thoughts, my eyes come in contact of his.
