The Next Step

Chapter 3

       I had been a couple hours now and we have yet to reach our destination, which mind you, I don't even know where it is. Sometimes I would catch Alex looking at me throughout the drive, I was looking out the window each time. My wolf was going crazy, she was full of worry about mother and was curious of where we were headed. We went deeper into the woods, perhaps higher up the mountain. We would drive by house here and there, indicating that people really did this far up, I feel as though the further we go we're less likely to have service, which I don't mind that at all. I had to turn off my phone because my mother kept calling and texting me, Alex complained about it being annoying so, in result I turned my phone off. 

      Feeling a hand grab mine, I look toward Alex and see him smiling lightly. I smile back and look at our hands tied together. Even though I felt guilty, I felt happy, being with my mate is all that matter for me right now. Yes, that's selfish to say, my mother is worried about me but, I decide to ignore everything and focus on him. I feel as though it may be too soon, but I want to be his completely. If we don't complete the mating process soon, I'll go into heat and I don't want to go through that. I don't want to speak out loud to him about this, I feel a little embarrassed, perhaps I'll just mind-link him.

I put up walls in my head so no one can hear our conversation, I look at him slowly, 'I want to complete the mating process tonight.'

The brakes screech to a halt when Alex stomps his foot on the brake, "What did just say?" he looks frantic, his eyes hold a sparkle of desire.

"I want to compl-"

"I know what you said. Why would you want to do that? You don't want to wait? A lot of mates wait," Alex rambles nervously.

I laugh, maybe he doesn't want to do it, "We don't have to if you don't want to."

Alex growls darkly, his eyes become black, there is no white in his eye, "Of course I want to. I want to devour you. I just want you to be unsure about this but do it anyways." 

"Well clearly I'm sure. I'd like to complete the mating process before I go into heat. That would be miserable for both of us," he nods in agreement and looks ahead of us to continue driving.

There's a small silence but it doesn't last long, "Alright, we'll do it. If you feel ready, we'll do it."

I start to draw patterns onto his hand that is still holding mine, "Do you feel as though we should do it?"

"Of course, I'll do anything you're up to do,"  his voice is genuine. He sounds slightly excited.

      With that we went silent again, it was a comfortable silence though. After a few more minutes we come to a stop in front of a house, it looked nice and well taken care of. The lawn in the front yard was mowed and bushes surrounded it. The house was small but not too small, it looked like it could fit a family at least. The driveway goes a little past the house to a garage, I heard Alex click something and the garage opens. Once Alex pulls into the garage and parks the car, we sit for a second then leave to go into the house. 

     As we enter the house I feel the atmosphere change, the mood has shifted. I'm starting to feel myself heat up, Alex growls lowly and picks me up from behind causing me to giggle and grab onto him. He carries me to the bedroom that's not too far from the door and lightly pushes me onto the bed. His eyes are completely on me and full of desire and lust, I'm sure my eyes look just the same. I slide my hand to the back of his neck and connect our lips, sealing our deal for the night. Our lips move with each other, I push all my feelings into it hoping he would feel and return them with his own. After showing me his feelings, he leads his mouth downward towards my stomach. His hands move to pull up my dress, I finish the job by taking it completely off and throwing it on the floor. I nudge him to move off of me and pull off my underwear, Alex unties the strings on my shoes letting me kick them off. Our eyes meet again until his lower to look at me, admiration and lust set in his eyes. The next thing he does fills me with enjoyment and pleasure, a feeling in my stomach cries for release.

    By the time morning comes, I'm already in the bathroom looking at myself in the mirror. My eyes are stuck on my neck where his mark laid. I know most mates will stay in bed for hours after completing the mating process but, I just couldn't wait to see it. Surely, Alex will get up soon to want to see my mark on him, I could tell he was starting to wake already. His growl rings around the house and he comes stomping to the bathroom to find me. Once his figure shows itself in the mirror I look over him and stare at my mark I placed on him. I smile at him, he walks up to me and twists me around to face him, his lips crash onto mine quickly and of course I kiss back with just as much energy.

He pulls back, "You weren't in bed, I thought you left."

"Of course I didn't, who would give my a ride back home?" I giggle at him as he raises one of his eyebrows.

"You could've ran in your wolf form if you wanted to."

He had a point, though I've been blocking Teicu for a while now so, I doubt she would let me leave, "Yeah but, I think Teicu would rather stay with you."

He smirked, "I believe it."

As I was about to say something back I start sensing other wolves entering the house, "Someone's here."

"My father must've had us tracked," Alex sighs as he quickly walks into the bedroom and throws his shirt at me. "You need to be covered," I nod and pull the shirt over my head letting it fall, it covers me enough so that I can barely see my thighs. Alex rushes to pull his pants on.

"Alexander!" The Alphas voice booms throughout the house causing Alex to show a concerned look on his face. Well this should be fun.

    I'm not going to put in mature scenes that involve sexual or oral interaction. I rather keep my book a little Pg. Hopefully you will enjoy it either way and continue to read this book. It's hard to keep my focus on typing the chapters all the time, I would say I'll work on it but, most likely that won't happen. Anyways, thank you for those who have continued to read this far.
