Chapter 10

I don't own naruto

Still at Sasuke's house with him and Hinata talking.

Hyuga listen I have a mission to help Naruto protect the village, and I have rejected Sakura for years, I don't have time for a relationship if that's what you are thinking.-Sasuke said coldly

S-Sasuke, I just think you are afraid to lose someone if they get close to you, b-but you won't lose me.-Hinata said trying not to blush

Listen like I said I have a mission and since my brother just returned, I'm gonna spend a lot of time with him, and protecting the village.-Sasuke said as he looked at Hinata

Suddenly Hinata goes up to Sasuke and hugs him.

Sasuke thank you for helping me get over Naruto, I realize now I need someone that is more like you and not such an idiot.-Hinata said confidently

Sasuke was about to throw Hinata off of him, but once she called Naruto an idiot he laughed a little.

Outside Sakura was just about to come in when she looked through he window and saw Hinata hugging Sasuke and Him Laughing.

So that's why he doesn't want me he has Hinata.-Sakura said as she turned to leave she ran into someone.

Oh I'm sorry I didn't see you.-Sakura trailed off as she saw Itachi standing over her

Oh no it was my fault, let me help you.-Itachi said as he helped Sakura stand back up

Thank you Itachi, Sakura said still in a bit of a daze from being knocked down

You are welcome, your name is Sakura Haruno right?-Itachi asked with a smile

Yeah, how did you know that?-Sakura asked confused

I remembered hearing about you as the best medic ninja right behind Tsunade, I've been trying learn more about Sasuke's friends.-Itachi said with a small smile

Oh well thank you but I'm not that great.-Sakura said as she blushed
He's so much like Sasuke, but he is much nicer and not a jerk like Sasuke.-Sakura thought to herself

No problem, but what do you know about a girl named Hinata Hyuga?-Itachi asked quietly

Oh well from what I could see from the window it looks like her and Sasuke are together.-Sakura said sadly while looking past Itachi

I'm sorry I didn't  mean to make you sad, can I make it up to you somehow?-Itachi asked kindly with a smile

Oh no it's alright it was just a dumb childhood crush it's okay.-Sakura said looking like she was about to cry

Well you look more sad now than you did before allow me to make it up to you with some ramen from Ichiraku? Naruto said all of Sasuke's friend like ramen.-Itachi said with a small laugh

Sakura look at at him and laughed, " well I don't know about ramen, but how about we walk around the village and just talk that always helps me feel better."-Sakura said looking more happy than before

Alright you lead the way miss Haruno.-Itachi said with a small laugh

Oh just call me Sakura, please, and alright follow me.-Sakura said with a big smile

Back with Sasuke and Hinata

Hyuga can you please let go of me.-Sasuke said sounding annoyed

Fine, but I'm not giving up on you Sasuke, I care about you.-Hinata said happily

Listen you're just sad that Naruto has someone else and yeah you made me laugh a little by calling Naruto an idiot, but that doesn't mean anything.-Sasuke said annoyed

I know how I feel Sasuke, and I feel like I want to be with you.-Hinata said as she was getting slightly frustrated

Then there was a knock at Sasuke's door

I'll be right back Hyuga.-Sasuke said annoyed that people can't seem to leave him alone.

Sasuke opened the door to Naruto, and said "what is it Naruto?"

Oh well Sasuke I had a question, would you be willing to go with Sakura or find someone for a double date with me and Ino, she said she wanted to do something different?-Naruto said while giving Sasuke puppy dog eyes

Naruto I've told you I don't have time, and Sakura is annoying,  So no I can't—Sasuke was cut off by Hinata

Hey Naruto, Sasuke and I would love to go on a double date with you and Ino, just tell us when and where and we will be there.-Hinata said as she smiled at Sasuke

Oh I didn't know you guys were dating.-Naruto said as he looked at Sasuke and Hinata

Well anyway we are going to go get barbecue, we were thinking tomorrow evening around 7.-Naruto said as he looked with hope in his eyes

We aren't tog-Sasuke was cut off by Hinata again

Yes Naruto we will be there, can't wait see you tomorrow.-Hinata said as she closed the door in his face.

Sasuke glared at Hinata, why did you say that?-Sasuke said with anger in his voice

Sasuke just give me one chance and if you hate it, we can act like it never happened.-Hinata pleaded to Sasuke

Fine.- Sasuke said annoyed

Really?-Hinata said with a huge smile

Yeah whatever, now get out so I can go see what my brother is doing.-Sasuke said still annoyed

Hinata was just barely out the door and happy that she at least had a chance with Sasuke.
