Chapter 7

I don't own Naruto

It had been just over a week since Sasuke had been back in the village, Naruto convinced him to stay in the village instead of going back on his journey.

It was noon when Naruto got to Sasuke's house.

Sasuke you home? Come on I wanna get ramen again today.-Naruto said as he knocked continuously on the door.

Naruto if you knock one more time, I'm going to come out there and use your head as target practice for my chidori.-Sasuke yelled as he walked to his door

Naruto just stood outside covering his head in fear of Sasuke.

Okay Naruto let's go get ramen, so you will leave me alone for the day.-Sasuke said as he closed and locked his door

Hey Sasuke, I should thank you again.-Naruto said while looking towards the sky and walking slowly

What for loser?-Sasuke said confused and slightly annoyed

Oh well, me and Ino have went on a few dates and I think it is going really well, so thanks again.-Naruto said as he smiled at Sasuke

Naruto I said not to bring that up again. Sasuke said as he smirked slightly before returning to his normal unemotional face

Sasuke and naruto arrive at Ichiraku ramen and order ramen, before continuing the conversation.

Naruto I really don't know how you can eat this literally everyday.-Sasuke said while watching Naruto start eating his third bowl of ramen

Well Sasuke it's just so good, I can't help it, I love ramen almost as much as I love Ino.-Naruto said before he stopped eating and realized what he said

Old man Teuchi then sat another bowl in front of naruto, saying "Naruto I hope this girl means a lot to you, so this round of ramen is on the house."

Thank you.- Naruto said quickly, before looking up and seeing Ayame.

Naruto have you told Ino how you really feel yet?-Ayame asked as she came out from cooking in the back

Um no Ayame, I am kind of scared and feel like maybe it's too early to tell her how I really feel.-Naruto said slowly putting his head down

Naruto you should tell her how you feel.-Sasuke suddenly said

I agree with him, from what I've heard it sounds like things are going great so I say go ahead and tell her.-Ayame said agreeing with Sasuke

Alright then I'll do it let's go Sasuke, I'm going to go tell Ino I love her!-Naruto yelled as he and Sasuke paid and got up to leave.

Hinata has been walking by Ichiraku and heard what Naruto said about Ino, and she felt her heart break once again, before starting to cry and running back home.

As Sasuke and Naruto we're heading to Ino's the both felt a familiar chakra.

Sasuke do you sense that?-Naruto asked confused

Yeah Naruto let's go check it out, it feels like he's right outside of the gate.-Sasuke said sounding angry and confused

Naruto and Sasuke sprinted as fast as possible and also traversed some buildings and arrived at the gate.
Just as they arrived a person was getting closer to the gate.

Sasuke is that really-Naruto was cut off by Sasuke

Naruto, you know it  that it's impossible.-Sasuke spoke sounding frustrated

The guards at the gate suddenly broke Sasuke and Naruto out of their thoughts.

Hey Naruto, Sasuke what's wrong who's out there?-the guards asked

Just then a voice that was familiar and hadn't been heard since the war spoke.

Sasuke it's been a long time, I hope you can forgive me for my sudden reappearance.- Itachi said very calmly

Sasuke just stared at his brother, and quietly said."Itachi is that really you?"

I have been trying to help with the peace that you and Naruto created, Sasuke I have kept tabs on you, and I know you are with Konoha, and Naruto thank you for bringing him back.-Itachi said quietly

Itachi it can't be you, y-you, I-I saw you die!?-Sasuke said as tears formed in the corners of his eyes.

Sasuke it really is him, I can tell, but Itachi how are you alive?-Naruto asked calmly

Sasuke slowly walked towards Itachi.

I'll explain that soon Naruto. Itachi said as he walked toward Sasuke.

Sasuke I'm glad you chose this path, Itachi said as he poked Sasuke in the forehead just like when he was young.

Suddenly six Anbu arrived along with the Hokage.

I-Itachi? Kakashi said as he looked at Itachi standing next to Sasuke.
