I don't own Naruto

At the Hokage tower, Kakashi and Gaara finished up discussing village related business.

Thank you as always lord Kazekage, there is a room at our nicest inn, if you wanted to stay in the village for a while longer.-Kakashi said as he bowed to Gaara

Lord Hokage, I think I will spend the day here and leave in the morning, I hardly ever get out anymore.-Gaara said with a smile

Alright,Shikamaru will show you where you are staying, and you have access to anything in the village.-Kakashi said smiling under his mask

Shikamaru was holding hands with Temari, while he lead Gaara and Kankuro through the village to there inn.

Gaara, what are you and Kankuro going to do later while I'm on my date?-Temari said looking at her brothers

We will probably just walk around the village.-Kankuro said looking at Gaara

Sounds fine to me.-Gaara said quietly

Shikamaru, I trust Temari will be back at a reasonable time.-Kankuro said half joking and half serious

Huh, oh yeah definitely.-Shikamaru said as he thought about the date
I hope Naruto made the reservation like he said.-Shikamaru thought to himself

Is this the Inn.-Kankuro said breaking Shikamaru out of his thoughts

Yeah, you guys go get checked in, I'll see you later.-Shikamaru said lazily

Alright see you later.-Temari said as she kissed his cheek

Shikamaru went to visit Naruto at the Yamanaka flower shop to check about the reservation.

Hey Shikamaru what's up?-Ino said happy to see her friend

Hey Ino, is Naruto around?-Shikamaru said lazily

Oh uh yeah he should be back soon, he had to make a flower delivery.-Ino said looking at the clock

Hey Shikamaru, what are you doing here?-Naruto said as he appeared out of no where.

What the!? Where did you come from?-Shikamaru said slightly jumping

Oh well, it's a new jutsu I'm working on, anyway what's up?- Naruto said smiling and looking out the window at his fathers face on the Hokage monument

Naruto you never cease to amaze me.-Ino thought as she day dreamed about her boyfriend

You did make the reservation for tonight right?-Shikamaru said seriously

Yeah I did it this morning, why?-Naruto asked confused

I just wanted to be sure, that's all.-Shikamaru said as he sighed

Oh yeah don't worry so much, Shikamaru.-Naruto said with a laugh

Hey Naruto not that's it's any of my business, but are Sasuke and Hinata together now?-Shikamaru said raising an eyebrow

Yeah, Ino and I went on a double date with them a few days ago.-Naruto said with a smile

That's good, I wasn't sure anyone would be able to unfreeze his frozen heart.-Shikamaru said with a small smile

Yeah, I'm glad it was Hinata though, I think they go together well.-Naruto said while watering the flowers

Anyway I have to go, I'll you guys later tonight.-Shikamaru said as he left

See you later.-Ino and Naruto said in unison

Hinata and Sasuke had been walking through the village, and just enjoying a normal day of quality time together.

Hinata, are you hungry?-Sasuke said as he looked at her happily

Oh, no I'm not that hungry.-Hinata said as her stomach growled

I guess you are hungry.-Sasuke said with a small laugh

Hehe, I guess a little bit.-Hinata said as she started turning red

Let's go back to my house and I'll make you something.-Sasuke said surprising Hinata

Oh, uh, you don't have to do that Sasuke,-Hinata said as she blushed again

I know, but I wanted to do something different Sasuke said with a surprisingly warm smile

Alright Sasuke if you don't think it will be a problem.-Hinata said smiling back at him

Hinata and Sasuke went to Sasuke's home and walked in to see Itachi and Sakura looking through some of Sasuke's old family photos.

Itachi I thought you were out in the village.-Sasuke said surprised to see his brother home already

I was but, Sakura asked me about what our family was like, so I wanted to show her some photos, I hope you don't mind.-Itachi said looking at Sasuke and Hinata

That's fine, but if you are done, I wanted to make something for Hinata and I to eat.-Sasuke said annoyed that Sakura was in his house again

Oh yeah, we can go do something else.-Itachi said as he got up with Sakura and they left

Sasuke, you didn't have to kick them out.-Hinata said watching as Itachi and Sakura went back into the village

Well Itachi could have stayed if he really wanted to.-Sasuke said with a small laugh

Sasuke, do you hate Sakura?-Hinata asked curiously

No, she is just loud and annoying and before now couldn't take no for an answer.-Sasuke said as he started working on lunch

Isn't Naruto the same way thought?-Hinata said as she watched Sasuke cook

Yes and no, yes he is loud and annoying, but he is the one who brought me back, he really never even doubted that he could, so he is my best friend.-Sasuke said with a smile as he remembered all the trouble Naruto caused trying to save him

I see, well I'm glad your back and all mine.-Hinata said as she got up and hugged Sasuke

Me too, lunch will be ready soon.-Sasuke said as he hugged her back

Sasuke and Hinata ate lunch and enjoyed the rest of the day with each other at Sasuke's home.
