Hi all!

Another chapter, another scandalous update. Enjoy all.

And still in the process of updating other stories - my muse is there but she's being difficult.

Enjoy. I own nothing but the story - everything else belongs to JK Rowling and Shonda Rhimes

Also, I apologize for any mistakes that have been made...

"Fire her!"

The sound of his voice sent shivers through me and I didn't like it. Well, I did but I shouldn't like it, given the circumstances I had found myself in. I had found my soulmate, and instead of embracing me, he was trying to get me fired. Standing in the hallway, listening to him yell at Cyrus - I could tell it wasn't going to be an easy ride. Then again, love was always easy. Stevie, despite the love and heart he had for Hermione, was still considered a playboy - yes, he didn't cheat but he flirted. He wouldn't cheat, and the flirting was something Hermione and Stevie was working on. But still, it had caused problems for them but like every other destined couple, they could work through it. Liv and Charlie had their problems as well, being an interracial couple. And now? Now my soulmate was here and he was married.

"Fire who sir? You're gonna have to be a bit more specific." I could hear Cyrus argue.

"Gilligan Pope...Hell, her sister too. Fire both."

"Awe why? Gilly's a pistol! And Liv is great! Both live for their work, Liv is a political nun, and Gilly was one of the best students I ever had." Cyrus argued.

I started walking, wanting to protest on behalf of myself and my sister. I arrived at Cyrus's door, and saw that my soulmate's back was facing me, and that Cyrus was annoyed.

"Fire them..."

Cyrus sighed. "Why sir? Because both she and Liv said what every staffer on your campaign was afraid to say?"

"Fine, keep Olivia, but just get rid of Gilligan."

Governor Grant (what could I call him?) turned around, and then stopped, as I was at the door. I smiled at Cyrus, giving him a wink.

"I'll charge mine and Liv's hotel room to the campaign. Don't worry, I'm sure Liv will be able to handle things, considering she's getting to know your staffers as we speak. And don't worry about me raiding the mini-bar. I don't drink, well normal alcohol anyway. Too soft me." I said, as Cyrus stood up, trying to stop me. I turned around but then turned back. "Best of luck, Governor Grant...I would say you'd need it but you have my sister, so I guess you'll be fine...mostly."

I then left, my heart leaping as I did. Despite my head wanting nothing to do with him, my body was saying something different. I guess, finding your soulmate would do that. I remembered when Liv first met Charlie, and after their words had been exchanged, they couldn't keep their hands off each other or couldn't bear to be away too long without each other. And even now, any excuse to touch other, they would do it. I guess now, I knew how they felt. My body was screaming to go back and demand he get to know me, to see that I was his but all I wanted to do was get out of there. If he didn't want me there, who was I to disobey him?
