"Calm down!" Jeff yelled, trying to calm me down.
I'm not sure why I as screaming it is as if I was possessed or something. I don't know, whatever it was, it was scary.I just sat there shaking for a minute then I finally managed to speak, "I don't know w-why I'm sc-screaming."
He looked at me as if he saw a ghost and rested back in his chair.
"Are you feeling dizzy?" he asked with a soft tone to his voice.
"Yeah..." I hesitated "I mean no."
He looked at me, studying my face.
He said nothing.
"Why am I here?" I asked, "What happened?"
"You just fell asleep at about half three in the morning." He paused "I carried you up here because your bed is a lot comfier than the floor."
"Oh..." I whispered, "Thanks." I mumbled, a bit ashamed.
"Don't mention it." He added on quickly. There was a out break of silence then I asked, "Why was I screaming?"
Jeff looked up at me... "Probably a nightmare." He looked back down at his hands which were cupped on his lap.
"I don't remember hav-"
"You don't."
"But then I shouldn't of screamed..."
"Just forget about it."
"Okay..." I looked at the end of the bed and peered through the slightly opened door. The hallway beyond the door looked even darker than usual, it wasn't the haunted looking dark, it was a scary looking dark.
"Do you wanna go exploring?" Jeff asked, still looking at his hands.
"Huh?" I was a but confused as of what his definition of exploring was,
"Exploring." He looked up at me and looked a bit happier than before, "Do you wanna go exploring?"
"Where?" I asked, I mean, we are just in a big box in the middle of no where, there is nothing to explore.
"That's what you're gonna find out." He smiled, almost as wide as the one carved into his face.
"I guess..." I mumbled. There's nothing to do here anyway so I might as well.
Jeff jumped off of the old styled, bronze/brown coloured chair and literally pulled me out of the bed.On that small journey to 'out of the house' I nearly fell over six times and nearly hit my head on something twice.
And I couldn't feel my arm because of the extremely strong grip Jeff had on it.We finally got out of the house Jeff let go of my arm and stretched.
"Okay..." he started, "Where would you like to go?"
"Somewhere... fun?" I stated, I barely know this place as it is, how am I suppose to know where to go and explore?
Jeff looked down a little and hesitated, "Do you like forests?"
"What?"
"Forests. Do you want to go to a forest?"
"Is there a forest here?"
"I wouldn't of asked if there wasn't."
"Okay, let's go to the forest then."
"Follow me."
He started walking off into sector F. Typical, a forest in sector F. Big surprise. To be quite honest, I don't even like forests. It just sounded like something to do.
We got to a eery looking part of 'F' and I felt a icy, almost winter kind of cold wind brushed against me. I shivered slightly, and that caught Jeffs attention. He turned and looked at me, "Cold?" he asked a bit cocky.
"N-no." I stuttered.
He laughed and walked towards me.
"Here..." he took of his white jacket (or hoody) and threw it at me.
I looked at him funny and he smiled,
"It's warm." He sniggered, breaking into laughter.
I just stood there and watched him take about three steps away from me, then he came back.
"You are cold so I gave you that to put on." he took the jacket from my icy hands and shoved it over my head.
"There." he laughed, looking at me.
"Funny." I said sarcastically.
He literally just put it over my head, my arms were trapped together and my head was just poking out of the top.
"Okay, okay. Come here." He laughed, pulling the jacket off of me.
"Thanks." I mumbled.
"Put it on." He stuttered, handing me the jacket again. "Please?"
"Fine." I sighed, "Because you said please."I shook the jacket on which, not going to lie, actually quite comfortable and caught up with Jeff who was already about to go into the forest.
"Why is it so cold?" I asked, shuffling my hands into the pockets of the jacket.
"It's to add effect." Jeff mumbled, looking around at the dark trees.
"Effect?" I whispered,
"Heard if the game 'Slenderman'?" Jeff asked, now looking at the stoned path.
"Yeah..." I hesitated a little,
"Have you played it?" he asked,
"Yeah."
"You're lying aren't you."
"No..."
He looked at me with disappointment, then back at the distant trees. "Okay, what does it feel like to play it?"
"Scary?..."
"Yeah, anything else?"
"You feel-" I paused and stood still.
Jeff turned to me with no particular emotion on his face.
I continued, "You feel... cold."
Jeff nodded slightly and carried on walking.
I ran up to him and asked, "How can you feel cold if you're not actually in the forest?"
"It's complicated."
"But it's the same kind of cold."
"Yep."
"So does that mean that you're actually in the forest?"
"Kinda."
"But then that means that Slenderman is also in the forest..."
"Sebastian."
"So you are basically playing a life?"
Jeff stopped. "What?" he asked confused,
"I mean, if you feel cold, when you play the game, and the actual forest of slender is cold. Then you're basically living the game."
Jeff looked confused and carried on walking. "Maybe."
I stood still, surprised at myself for coming up with that conclusion. Then walked quickly back to Jeff.
'So every Creepy Pasta game, is actually a place?"
"In here, yes."
"Can we go to them?!"
"Some of them."
"Some?"
"Not all are safe to go to."
"Like...?"
"Five nights at Freddie's?"
"Huh?"
"That's in sector Z."
"Can we go there?!"
"No."
"Why?"
"Do you want to be stuffed into a massive robot bear?"
I stayed quiet.
"Didn't think so."
"What about silent hills?"
"What about it."
"Is that here?"
"Yeah."
"Can we-"
"No."
"Why?"
"Why do you think."
"Okay so which ones can we go to?"
Jeff smiled. "We can go to mine in a bit if you'd like."
"You have a game?"
"You haven't seen it?"
"I think I have, but it looked badly made."
"Thanks."
"No I didn't mean like that I-"
"I know what you mean."
"Sorry."
He laughed "Its okay, there's lots of 'Me' games, and some of them are quite badly made."
"It was still scary."
"I am scary."
His tone of voice changed from 'having a laugh' to 'I'm now in a bad mood' in a second. Which upset me, it was nice being able to talk to him and have a laugh.
I sighed quietly. Kicking a few rocks and looking at the trees.
We carried on walking in the dark forest and then Jeff spotted something stuck to a tree. I couldn't quite see what it was. I think it was a note. Like, a slender note.
I'm not scared if Slenderman, the game or the person, I'm just not over the fact that I'm actually playing the game. In real life.
