Jeff stayed quiet for a bit and then changed the channel on the TV to the football channel, I heard the various yelling and kicking but I didn't look because I don't really like football so I just stayed resting on Jeffs chest.
The sound of the television slowly drifted to silence and my mind went blank.

Someone banged on the door and I sat up almost instantly. Jeff was still sleeping, his head tipped off the arm of the sofa. I got up easily and walked towards the door.
My eyes were still weak and I felt heavier than usual.
I eventually got to the door and I saw a pale face with matte black hair, about shoulder length and dark circles where their eyes would be.
I squinted my eyes trying to focus my vision on the figure.
I stood still.

There was silence.

The person on the other side of the door turned their head slightly to the right and lifted their hand up to the glass on the door. They cracked a smile and began to tap the glass.
After each tap, the tap got louder, and louder and more powerful each time.
I reached out for the door nob, my hand shaking slightly and then, when I did touch the door, my hand stuck to it. I couldn't move. The person now hitting the glass with a lot of force.
I tried to scream but it was like my voice had disappeared.
I stared at the person looking through the glass, looking at their hand, looking at the small cracks in the glass which got bigger and bigger after every touch. Looking at my hand which was frozen to the door.

And then, it broke.

The glass shattered over the floor and the figure on the other side was now perfectly visible.
"Jane." I mouthed, still unable to speak.
My eyes were fixed on her.
She smiled.
She put her arm through the hole in the glass which she made and I tried so hard to get away. But my hand, it was preventing me from getting away.
Her cold hand grabbed my arm and pulled me, trying to get me out of the house. Eventually she did.
I was pushed onto the floor and she crouched down next to me,
I couldn't move. It was as if I was stuck to the floor, only being able to turn my head and look around at the space around me.
I tried to sit up several times but I couldn't move.
Jane looked at me and smiled.
"You shouldn't be here..." She whispered, "You will end up dead..." Her voice was raised a little, "If Jeff doesn't kill you then I will." She stood up and pulled a large piece of glass from the window on the door and crouched down next to me again.
"Jeff wants you dead just like the rest of them."
I looked up at her and-
I don't know how I felt.
I felt. Silly.
What if she is right. What if they do want me dead.
What if-
No.
If they wanted me dead they would of done it earlier.
My friends have came here before and they are fine. Why would I be any different?

Jane laughed and raised the large piece of glass up. "Don't go to sleep..." She whispered.

She pushed the glass down with all of her force and drive it through my chest. She did that several times then ran off. I stared at the ceiling of the porch and took out of time, heavy breaths.
I felt numb and dizzy.
I
I am
Dying?

"Cheyenna!" A familiar yet worried voice yelled.
I sat up again.
In the living room.
With Jeff.

"What...?" I whispered to myself, resting my head in my hands.
"You were making noises in your sleep and I-"
"Thank you." I interrupted.
"Sorry did I ruin a good dream?"
"No." I said not even a second after he finished.
"Nightmare?" He asked, as if he had asked a million times before,
"Uh, yeah." I said not so certain.
"What was is about?" Jeff asked rubbing the sides of my arms.
I closed my eyes for what felt like years then reopened them, "it doesn't matter" I whispered, wiping my eyes gently.
"It kinda does.." Jeff whispered, nudging his head onto my back.

At this point in time, I thought I was dead. I thought that I was in heaven.
The box had somehow produced a beautiful morning sky effect which leaked through the curtains and I was sat on Jeffs lap, him resting his head on me whilst holding my arms softly and it was just wonderful.
