I Could Have
If I could have lived under the sky.
If I could have walked to a mile.
When no one's watching
I would have recite
All those of mine favorite poems, songs and rhymes.
Under the stars light.
Only if I could be free
From the world I'm bound to be
I would have fleed
To another sky
Flying high towards a mountain peak.
Where no one would dare to take my life
No orders, stress and lies.
Where I would have laughed
While my heart smiled.
I wish I could have lived that life,
Even just for some moment or a little time,
I wish I could have lived my life.
