Rewrite The Stars
"Tell me if we can rewrite the stars
If I could have yours near mine
Just a heartbeat apart
Lie you and I"
"How can we rewrite the stars?
No one can bring yours near mine
We're falling apart
My hands are tied"
"Why can't we rewrite the stars?
It's on you and I
Even if we're falling apart
I'll fight to be by your side."
"I wish we could rewrite the stars
But it's just a hopeless light
We'll just hurt in the last
Why are we even trying?"
"I'll rewrite the stars
You don't have to fear for my life
We won't have to fall apart
Cause our hearts are tied"
"I'll wait till we rewrite the stars
Our poem is what my heart recites
But even if our hearts untie
Hope you'll live your life"
The boy turned his heart
And tried to rewrite the stars
But the stars were too stiff
Didn't move a bit
And they both fell apart
The stars untied their heart
And they stood far away
Looking at the stars falling away.
"Why couldn't I rewrite the stars?
Why do we have to fall apart?
Why is this world so stiff?
Didn't I try with my might?"
"I wish we could have rewrite the stars
So we won't had to fall apart
Wish we won't have ever known
Where all the broken lovers go"
They both were left afar by the stars
But their love last
As every night they gazed the stars
One day the girl broke the rule
Ran to the boy with her heart.
"Let's rewrite the stars
Cause we're meant to be
We don't have to walk away
Let's live our dream."
They spent the day with their heart
But at night their stars played their part
As they walked through the streets
The girl let go of him
"Sorry for lying about rewriting the stars
But it's time for me to fall apart
I asked the stars for a day
In exchange of everything I had or will ever have"
And her star fell from the sky
As she disappeared under the street lights
'I'll be your falling star' at last she said with a smile
He stood there with his breaking heart
Looking at her falling star
Who crossed him
Every night
At that fixed time.
"We shouldn't had tried to rewrite the stars
It was the best for you and I
How you suppose me to live this life
I'm suffering
These scars won't heal in this life"
The stars felt broke
As they saw how they both suffered and never let go
So they tried to change their heart
But it was too late
To rewrite how they are.
