I'll Be Waiting
I asked myself in the mirror
why's everything so strange?
why this heart stop beating
and then suddenly find it's way.
I remember when it start,
when I asked her if she liked
the sunset or the stars.
She chose the stars,
but I was the sunset
too far.
She comes closer inside
and then ask me to leave when by my side.
She's afraid of the world.
Thinks she would get hurt.
I wish I had strength to take that for her.
So I asked her what I shall do
It's the last time & have courage for you
And she asked my to leave her side
saying it's the best of us
I said I would
but my heart wouldn't.
I told her I would wait
cause somehow I knew she told a lie
it wasn't her heart
who wanna be by my side.
She ran away with tears
that filled her eyes.
And so I went back
and now I'm looking at the mirror
by my side.
I know one day
her heart would find a way
and I'll be waiting
I'll stay.
