Walking Down The Street
I was just a young girl
walking down the streets
looking over the sky
wondering what life could make me see
when I saw him
walking down another corner
I could only stare at him.
......
He wore the same dress
then I saw him in class
sitting right behind me
I hoped our unknown bond to last.
They said he was new
and so when he introduced
he was quite a strange tart.
.......
Always sitting in a corner
rarely talked,
while others tried to be friends
he ignored.
........
And when the class end
I saw him down the streets
I just walked behind him
behaving like nothing means.
......
And so the days went by
and one day he turned
'do I know you?' he said
while my heart fluttered.
'I don't know what you mean!'
I said with forcing a smile
and went through he way
as he was left behind.
.......
From the day next I was scared
didn't wait for him in the stairs
went home by myself
in the class too
I just changed my desk.
'nothing of this even means. he don't even know me.'
explaining my heart I said.
.......
But another day he was there
standing on the stairs
then walking behind me
through all the way.
And then he was there again
'come back to your seat'
he said as I entered the hallway.
.......
It seemed like a dream
pinched myself in the count of three;
he was sitting behind with a smile
and asked me to wait
when the class end
and finally said
'I like when you'r by my side.'
