Zoë woke up in her bed, gasping for breath. She was covered in sweat and was clutching her Ground Zero plush in a death grip. She looked around her, and realized where she was.
She was home. Not at that horrible place. They weren't going to hurt her anymore. Yukino...
It had been over a month, and she still hadn't stopped having the nightmares.
Just as she was about to start sobbing, a light knock was heard on the door, and Izuku and Bakugo both walked in. Izuku was holding a glass of water and some of her pills to heal up her cuts.
"Morning baby," Izuku whispered, placing the water next to her. She nodded weakly. Bakugo stroked her hair.
They both sat down on opposite sides of her. She leaned into Bakugo, and he pulled her in for a hug. She took a deep breath and pulled herself away. The tiniest smile crossed her face.
The looked up at Izuku, her grin giving away her question. He laughed softly, and nodded his head.
Zoe's small hand came into contact with Izuku's swollen stomach. Izuku was now five months along, and Zoë was more excited for her new sibling than both Izuku and Bakugo put together.
"Morning!" She sang, still talking to the baby. "Only four more months, and then I get to meet you! Your big sis can't wait! I hope you're okay in here! Be nice to Papa, okay?" She kissed his stomach, and Izuku started crying. Bakugo rolled his eyes playfully, and kissed Izuku.
"I'm going to go make some breakfast, okay? Zoë, make sure you get ready. Fairly quickly. I washed your uniform last night, 'Kay?" Bakugo waved, exiting the room.
She helped Izuku up, and went to work brushing her hair. She threw on her uniform, grabbed her backpack, ate a quick bowl of cereal, kissed her parents goodbye, and stumbled out of the door.
"BYE!" She screamed. Izuku and Bakugo chuckled, waving to her.
The girl ran all the way to school. When she finally arrived in her classroom, like usual, she looked over at where Yukino used to sit. She had done this every day since she had been rescued- but no such luck. She really was...she really did...
"Okay," Aizawa began. "Today, we're going to be going to the USJ training facilities, and starting our rescue training. You will be paired up randomly- get changed into your costumes, and meet me outside. The bus is waiting. Hurry up."They all entered the building.
"Oh WOW!" Kirika squealed.
"Awesome!" Melody whispered.
"Okay, don't get too excited. You're doing reduce training today. You'll be paired up in groups of three, and be randomly assigned to a scene- use your quirks as best as you can to help. Now, let's-"
A purple fog encased them all. Aizawa swore.
"W-what's happening?!" Kuro whispered.
"The League of Villains..." Aizawa muttered. Shock was written across everyone's faces.
"R-real villains?!" Sakura screamed.
"Okay, stay calm- you all have permission to fight-!"
And with that, the most disappeared, along with the rest of the students."Urgh..." Zoë muttered. She sat up, rubbing her head. "W-where am I?"
"Zo! ZO! Are you okay?!"
Zoë grinned.
"Better now that you're here, Kirika!"
She smirked and helped her friend up.
"Who else?"
"Me," a monotonous voice rang. Sana was standing there, next to an obviously terrified Kanzaki. "It appears that Kanzaki was sent here as well, as she was in physical contact with me when we were sent here."
"This is bad..." Kirika muttered. They all looked around.
"A...a cliff?!" Kanzaki screeched. Sure enough, they were all on a rocky precipice overlooking what looked like a desert. The Mesa was displaying colorful clay everywhere, but the loose stones and crumbling sand made it hard to appreciate it.
"Okay," Zoë panicked. "It could be worse! We could be in the water! Or in a lighting storm! Oh god, what if Melody's there?!"
Kirika grabbed her by her shoulders.
"Ssssssh...we have to think about ourselves first, okay? I'm sure she's fine. She's one tough cookie."
Zoë smoked hesitantly.
"Y-yeah..."
"I hate to interrupt," Sana said. "But it appears as though we have company."
Zoë nearly screamed.
At LEAST eight villains were at the bottom of the cliff, all of them brandishing very REAL looking weapons.
"W-what are we going to do against THAT?!" Kirika shouted.
"Stay calm," Sana interjected. "Kirika. There is a fairly loose boulder a few yards away. You can lift it, I believe. Zoë. With your explosions, you can propel it further. I always manage to come prepared with extra sugar. The force will most likely blow sand in our direction. When that happens, I will grow extra hands for all of you to protect your eyes. Affirmative?"
"T-totally!" Kirika smiled.
"Y-you're amazing, Sana!" Zoë whispered.
"I am simply trusting my instincts. Now, let's proceed. Look."
They all paled. The villains were almost halfway up the cliff. They all had quirks that looked like they could manipulate earth, and they were making their way up the ledge at an alarming rate.
"KIRIKA! NOW!" Zoë screamed.
"HRAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"
Kirika lifted the boulder above her head, and it sailed over Zoe's head. Using her explosions, the girl propelled herself through the air, quickly catching up to it.
"DIE!"
The impact of her blast split the rock into pieces, effectively causing the villains to let go of the ledge before they were trampled. Sure enough, the sand nearly suffocated her, but just in time, an extremely large arm snatched her out of the air, and clamped over her mouth.
When the wind died down, she opened her eyes. The dust settled, and she looked around. All four of them were perfectly safe.
"WE DID IT!" Zoë and Kirika screamed, high giving. Even Sana was wearing a small grin.
"N-not just yet..." a shaky voice said. A cloaked figure appeared out of thin air. "Y-you'll have to get through ME!"
The wind picked up again, throwing the person's hood off. Her blackish-red hair blew in the wind.
"Y-Yukino!" Zoë screamed. "YUKINO!"
She tried running towards the girl, reaching out to her.
"D-Don't get any closer!" She said, creating a flaming sword. "I...I will hurt you!"
Before any of them had time to react, they all fell to the ground.
Kirika hissed, and clutched her side. A long gash on her side had started bleeding, thanks to the sword. Sana and Kanzaki weren't doing much better. Sana'a extra limbs had all been cut off, and she was panting heavily, trying to get them to regrow, but it was clear her energy was sapping. Kanzaki has a gash on her forehead, and her eyes were wide, seemingly not realizing what was going on.
Zoë...
Zoe's palms were all cut up. She opened her fists, and let out an explosion.
"GAH!" She screamed, falling to her knees. The burning seemed as though it would tear her body apart.
"N-not so strong now, are you?" Yukino screamed, her eyes unfocused and cloudy. Zoë noticed her friends, and her eyes went wide.
"KIRIKA! SANA! KANZAKI!" She started to shake with rage.
"I didn't want it to come to this..." Zoë roared. "BUT NO ONE MESSES WITH MY FRIENDS!"
"G-good luck!" Yukino scoffed. "W-without a quirk, you cant HOPE to beat me!"
Zoë grinned.
"Well, that's not exactly true...my Papa said something like this might happen..."she trailed off. "And he told me to tell you...EAT THIS!"
She let out a roar, and green lightning crackled around her body. Wind whipped her hair around, her eyes growing brighter. She floated above the ground, her arms wide open.
"ONE FOR ALL!" She screamed.
"FULL COWLING!"
Yukino stared at her in shock.
"Z-Zoë...!"
"8%! DETROIT...SMAAAAAAASH!"
Yukino covered her eyes, and coughed, but it was no use. The portal engulfed her, as it was clear she had no chance against winning. Another figured emerged to take her place.
"Well, well, well!" Todoroki laughed. "It appears as though a new successor had joined the fray!"AN: Hi guys!! I'm back!! If you can't tell, I absolutely ADORE the USJ arc, and I couldn't resist re-telling it with my characters! I wanted to give Sana some more time to shine- she's my favorite right now (I LOVE her design!), so I'm happy about that! What do you guys think of her? You know, the pro hero's arrived at USJ to protect the students...who ever could be coming to save them...? Anyways, I hope at least one of you got my joke with Zoë saying, "EAT THIS!" I meant for it to have two different meanings...anyways! As always thank you guys so much for your support! 36K?! SERIOUSLY?! What did I do to deserve you guys?? I'll be back soon, okay?
Until next time!
