"You...you and Papa really didn't like each other at first?" Zoë whispered. Izuku giggles lightly.
"Not exactly..." he smirked in Katsuki's direction.
"Tch," Katsuki spat, bright red. "Yeah, I liked your Papa since we were kids, but I didn't really know how to tell him...I'm not great at handing emotions, and when I found out we were supposed to live with each other...I thought if I treated him like shit, he'd stop hanging around with me, and stop letting me hurt him. He deserved better."
"Language, Katsuki," Izuku said. "Yeah, our first few weeks living together were...rough..."
Shame was written across Bakugo's face. Izuku gave him a sad smile.
"W-Why's Dad look so upset?" Zoë asked Izuku.
"You see, before we knew I was pregnant with you, baby...your Papa was an asshole and had me sleep on the floor."
Zoë was silent, and looked over at Bakugo, who had his head in his hands.
         And she burst out laughing.
Izuku grinned and Katsuki just stared at them.
       "What the hell's so funny?!"
"Well, it's just...I can't even believe it- Dad, you're one of the gentlest, kindest people I've ever met- you've always protected me, and kept me safe. I just can't believe that you did that without some sort of reason."
Bakugo had tears in his eyes.
"Yes, I did have a reason- it was a shitty reason, but I had one. And then, when Uncle Kirishima told me that your Papa was expecting, I ran back to our dorm room as fast as I could, and I picked him up, and brought him into bed with me. He was still scared of me, and when he woke up in the middle of the night, he had a really bad cramp and was in a lot of pain, and that's when I realized that I needed to protect you. Both of you."
       Zoë stared at the ground.
"I'm sorry I caused you pain, Papa."
Izuku brushed her hair out of her face.
"Was it painful? Yes, more than anything else I've ever done. Would I go through it again? A thousand times, if it was for you."
Zoë started crying softly, and she clutched her Ground Zero plush. Bakugo has given her that thing the day she was born, and she hadn't let go of it since.
"Honey, what's wrong?" Izuku asked softly.
"Y-you make love sound so perfect..." she hiccuped. "I...I...why doesn't Yukino like me?"
       Bakugo sighed.
"Listen, Icy-Hot is probably my least favorite person in the world. And believe me, I could tell she wasn't helping him out of her own free will. I have a feeling it didn't have anything to do with you."
       Zoë nodded.
"And young lady, if you think you're going to fall in love in your first year of high school, then you've got another thing coming."
"But that's exactly what you did."
"Yes, and I don't want you pregnant at 15."
Zoë rolled her eyes. She eventually sighed and leaned into Bakugo's chest. She nuzzled into his shirt, and took deep breaths.
"You know, when I was 13, I was attacked by a villain," Bakugo stared. Zoë stared at him in horror. "It was a sludge villain, and it captured me, and tried to take over my body. I couldn't breathe, and I was convinced I was going to die."
Him and Deku shared a smile.
"And I would have, if your dumbass Papa hadn't run in, without a quirk, and threw his backpack at the thing, trying to distract it from hurting me. And I resented him after for so long- most people thought it was because of my pride. When, I'm reality...I was so scared. I was horrified. I had sworn to myself that I would protect him, and there he was, risking his life to save mine. That's when All Might gave him his quirk."
"Wait, Papa- you were QUIRKLESS?!" Zoë asked.
        Izuku laughed.
"Oh geez, I totally forgot to even mention that- I'm so used to people knowing it! Yes, before All Might gave me One For All, I didn't have an ounce of power in me. I had always wanted to be a hero, but I nearly stopped believing in my dream. And if I hadn't saved your dad...I never would have become a hero."
Zoë smiled softly, and then turned red.
"O-Oh! I'm so sorry! I forgot to give you this! Mr. Aizawa sent us all home with a copy of it! It totally slipped my mind!"
She opened her backpack, and pulled out a pink flyer.
Bakugo snatched it out of her hands, and Izuku read it over his shoulder. Bakugo shouted out loud, and Izuku almost started crying.
"So it's time for the Sports Festival, eh?"

AN: HI GUYS!! I've been trying to get chapters out faster than usual- I hope you've been noticing! In all honesty, writing soft Bakugo is one of my favorite things, so I figured I'd show that off in this chapter! But yes, the next arc will be the Spirts Festival! I haven't decided yet if I want to use the same contests, or use different ones- I know I will keep the 1 VS 1 matches at the end, but other than that, PLEASE feel free to leave ideas!! I really need them! Anyways, I've been drawing a few different sketches of Zoë, and I figured I share them here! I'll try to do more of them!
