Chapter Thirty Three

"WOW!" Sakura squealed, jumping up and down.
The Iidas and the Bakugos had finally arrived in Hawaii, and they were all ready for a vacation!
"Yes, we're checking in, the room should be under 'Midoriya!'"
The receptionist gave them their key cards, and everyone went on their way.
"I wanna go to the pool!" Sakura squealed. Zoë nodded in agreement.
"I'll take the girls to the pool, and you guys can have guy time or whatever!" Ochaco smirked, already walking towards the spa. "Tenya, have fun third wheeling, and Bakugo, hands to yourself!"

Zoë collapsed into her bed. It had been a long day. She had gone to the pool, had lunch and then ended up in the bathroom with Sakura for an hour because her friend felt sick, (ME), got a pedicure, went shopping, and then eventually had to put away all of her clothes and get her stuff together.
She closed her eyes, waiting for sleep to take her.

Bakugo was standing outside of the room, finishing a drink. Everyone else had gone to sleep, and he just wasn't tired. It must've been two in the morning by the time he decided he should get some rest, but right before he opened the door, something grabbed his hand and jerked him backwards.
"What the he-"
He was cut off by someone putting a piece of tape over his mouth, and snapping his wrists into handcuffs. Before he could make an explosion, they cut into his palms, rendering his quirk useless.
Fuck! What the hell's going on?!
He turned around to try to see who was attacking him, and then everything went black.

     Bakugo opened his eyes with great difficulty.  His vision was blurry and his head was spinning. He tried to stand up, and he stumbled at first, but managed to stager to his feet.
Shit. My head is all kinds of foggy right now...
      When his vision finally focused, he realized where he was. He was in some sort of warehouse inside of what seemed like a iron cage. Bars and everything. There wasn't anything else in there except for a slab of concrete that could barely be called a bed.
     Trying to put his safety in front of his anger, he shouted, "If someone is here, they better start explaining!"
     Two people stepped out of the shadows. They both had matching electrifyingly yellow hair.
     "K-Kaminari?!" Bakugo gasped. He waved.
      "Yo! Long time no see, Katsuki!" He said cheerily.
        Bakugo growled.
       "Only Izuku and Zoë can call me 'Katsuki.' What the hell do you want, Dunce Face? And if you want to keep things peaceful, I suggest moving your daughter out of the room."
        Denki lashed forward much quicker than Bakugo expected, grasping the bars of the cage in less than a second. He grabbed Bakugo by the chin and tilted his face towards him.
        "I make the rules now. Act like the prey you are, Katsuki."
        "I told you NOT to call me Katsuki," Bakugo growled.
Perfect. Denki smirked. Once he gives in to his temper, it's game over.
         Keep it cool, Katsuki. Bakugo seethed. You remember what Izuku told you. Once you give in to your temper it's game over.
       "Oh well, I guess this isn't going to work," Denki grinned. "Well, what do you say, Katsuki? Should we get started?"
        "Started with what?"
        Katsuki's eyes snapped closed and he let a scream rip out of his throat.
       "How do you like 3 million volts, Katsuki?"
       Bakugo could barely stand. The electricity running through his body was almost unbearable.
        "W-What the hell is you...p-problem?" He hissed. Melody walked over and activated her quirk. Bakugo collapsed to the ground.
       Denki laughed.
      "Todoroki left his mission in my hands! I'm not going to fail him!"

        "Papa! PAPA!" Zoë wailed, pounding on her father's door. Izuku opened the door to see his daughter in hysterics.
       "Zoë, whats-"
       The girl pointed to the bloodstains outside of their door, and a note on the door.
He's gone. You want him back? Come find him. You can have what's left.

A week later...
        "K....hhh..." Bakugo groaned. His body was already covered in burns and cuts that Denki refused to let heal, he hadn't eaten, and he was out of his mind with anxiety.
I'm not protecting them. I'm. Not. Protecting. Them. That is my job. That is your JOB, Katsuki! Get it together!
       But no matter how many times he told himself that, he just didn't have the strength to get up any more.
How did this even happen?
         "Katsuki!" Denki laughed happily. Bakugo was certain by now- Kaminari was officially insane. He had lost his mind. He seemed to have made up a whole reality in which Bakugo was his willing friend.
How long can I keep this up?
           Denki delt another blow to his head. He crumpled to the floor.
I have to...protect...them...

      Just as he was about to hit him again, a knocking was heard in the door. Denki, confused, opened the door, revealing a small girl with green pigtails.
      "Thank you for having me!" She smiled. She bowed towards the villain and walked calmly past him.
      In less than a second, Zoë had pinned Kaminari to the ground. Melody screamed and ran over to her father. Zoë whipped her head around and fired off an explosion, knocking Melody off her feet.
       "PAPA! NOW!" Zoë screamed.
        Iida's leg busted the entire wall down, revealing Izuku, Ochaco, and Sakura. Kaminari gave some sort of signal, and the purple smoke reappeared.
        Toga, Dabi, and Tomura stepped into the ring.
       Ochaco slapped Shigaraki across the face, and he floated into the air. She released him, causing him to fall into a box of scrap parts.
       Iida went head to head with Dabi, and Izuku seemed to be the only one who was able to match Kaminari's speed. As soon as she noticed that all of the villains were being delt with, she dropped everything and ran over to her father.
       Weeping, but refusing to cry, she activated One For All, and bent the metal of the cage. Bakugo, who at this point could barely stand, was helped up by his own daughter.
     "Daddy! Are you alright?!" Zoë whispered. She already knew the answer, but she just desperately needed her father to act as the protector he had established himself to be. Bakugo staggered to his feet.
       "N-Never...better...."
       Zoë ripped her T-shirt and started bandaging Bakugo's wounds as best she could. Suddenly, Toga jumped out from behind her, and slashed her side.
       "GAH!" Zoë screeched. The green line running across the knife didn't look natural.
P-Posion...
        Zoë could already feel her body being affected by the poison, but she figured she had about a minute before she could no longer move.
          She backed away, leading Toga away from her injured father. Unfortunately, she found herself backed up against a wall, and Toga was pulling out another knife. She licked her lips, and Zoë closed her eyes, preparing for the worst.
       "ZOEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
       A silver crowbar flew across the room, landing by her feet. It seemed familiar, but she didn't know why. Not even questioning it, she scooped it up it clashed against Toga's knife.
       But just then, a spear covered in ice flew into Toga's hand- breaking her dagger. In that opening, a dark haired woman threw herself in front of Zoë.
        "THIS ACT HAS BEEN KEPT UP LONG ENOUGH!" The woman screamed.
        "NO ONE TOUCHES MY GOD-DAUGHTER!" Momo Yaoyorozu screamed.
