KIT:

"So, you're angry at her becau-" Jack began, before he was cut off.

"I'm not angry at her" Kit denied. Jack looking back at him and frowning.

"Yes, you are. You're angry at her because she missed her flight. You're angry at her, because she's not here" he said as he walked towards his brother and sat opposite him on the armchair.

"Shut up Jack. You don't know what the fuck you're talking about" Kit spat. He was angry. He was intoxicated and he didn't really care about hurting his brother's feelings.

"No, you shut up!" Jack said as he leaned forward. He knew he was irritating his brother, but he didn't care.

"Jack" Kit warned.

"Shut up Kit and listen" he said he leaned forward and grabbed the bottle of whiskey in front of him. "I know you miss her. We miss her too! But for fuck sake it's Christmas eve and she's going to be here for your birthday. It's going to be over before you know it and she'll be here, annoying the shit out of all of us" Jack said as he watched his brother lean back into his seat.

"Think about her. She's in L.A, alone, on fucking Christmas Day. Her family is here in London. I bet she's more disappointed in herself than you are disappointed in her right now. Don't be an asshole Kit!" Jack said as he watched his brother nod his head in agreement. He wished that he wasn't right, but he was. Now he felt just as guilty. He shouldn't have flipped out like he did. He was always this hot headed.

"You're right" he said as he stood and walked past his brother, who then stood after him.

"Kit, what are you doing?" he asked as he followed behind him. Kit gathering his things.

"I'm going to L.A" he said clearly. Jack shaking his head.

"Don't be an idiot" he said as he rolled his eyes. Kit stopped and looked back at him, brushing his hair out of his face.

"You said it yourself. She's there on her own for Christmas. We need to be there anyway for the Globes. We only came back to London because I wanted to be with my family, and she wanted to be with hers. If she can't be here, then what's the point? I've spent the week here; my cup is full of family time. She is my family too. I want to be where she is" he said clearly, without missing a beat.

"Kit. You're going to spend Christmas in the air" he said as he shook his head. "Don't do it. She'll be here is less that 72 hours. For fuck sake, just be patient" Jack said as his brother looked back at his as he tied his hair in a half up, half down bun.

"I'm going" he said clearly.

"You still need to book a flight" he said as he walked to the front door, leaning on it.

"I'm going to ring Jase. He owes me a favour" he yelled as he ran upstairs to grab his things and say goodbye to his parents.

In less than 20 minutes he was back down again. He left his suitcases in the hallway as he went back into the lounge to get his phone. He switched it back on and saw her messages. He then saw the picture she had sent him of her and her god son and sighed as he sat back down in the same seat his brother found him in earlier that night.
