The Universe Has Moved For Us (Taekook)

Chapter 7

"Jungkook, you're going to be late!!" Taehyung yelled as he laid out the breakfast on the table and glanced at the clock. Jungkook should have already been on the way to university by now yet he still hadn't come out of their room.

"I'm coming, I'm coming." Jungkook rushed out into the kitchen with disheveled hair and quickly shouldered his bag before stuffing his mouth with a few mouthfuls of cereal and bolted out the door.

"Jungkook, you didn't even touch the fruits!" Taehyung shouted but Jungkook was already out of ear shot. He shook his head and sat down to eat his own fill. He should have just added the fruits he cut into his bowl of cereal.

He cleared the table and decided to wash the dishes after cleaning up a bit. He walked into the bedroom and crouched down to the side of the bed to wrap up the soft sheets and pillows where Jungkook slept every night.

After they had talked and fell into a comfortable routine, Taehyung had refused to let Jungkook sleep on the couch. He slept on the bedroom floor now but on the softest sheets Taehyung could find. He had tested it before making Jungkook sleep on it and he could confirm it was very comfortable.

He smiled as he picked up the comic books scattered on the bed and put them on the table in a pile. Jungkook had been in the mood to reread all of his favourite comics last night so they had spent the entire night doing that sitting side by side. That's how Taehyung had fallen asleep but when he woke up he was properly tucked in and Jungkook was on the floor.

He was glad they were back to how they used to be before with some changes. Some things were definitely not the same but that was something they had accepted the day they properly talked. Taehyung just knew that Jungkook was the reason he wasn't miserable right now.

"Taehyung?" He heard someone call his name so he went into the living room to see Minhyuk looking around for him.

"Hey." Taehyung greeted his friend with a smile and walked towards him.

"Guess what? Jungwoo is pregnant!" Minhyuk said excitedly, making Taehyung's eyes widen.

"Oh my god, really? That's great." He squealed. He quickly left the cabin with Minhyuk to congratulate Jungwoo.

The omega was surrounded by their whole group of friends. Taehyung suddenly noticed how happier he looked and how much he glowed. He wondered why he hadn't noticed it before. He gave him a big hug when he reached him.

"I'm so happy." Taehyung exclaimed.

Jungwoo had a permanent blush on his cheeks and kept thanking everyone.

"It's already been two months but Jaehyun wanted to wait before we told anyone. He's been taking so much care of me, honestly. He doesn't let me do anything." He told everyone and Taehyung could swear his eyes were sparkling. "He promised he wouldn't hit me even once anymore." All his friends started telling him how lucky he was immediately. This was the normal life of an omega in this pack.

The alpha was entitled to take their anger out on you and it wasn't seen as anything wrong or something to leave your mate for. Your alpha loves you but he is allowed to put you in your place too.

"Eunhyuk wouldn't like me telling you guys but we're trying for a baby too." Woojin whispered and quickly covered his face as the others started to hit him playfully and smiled.

"The first pup is fun but honestly the charm is all lost after they're like a year old." Minhyuk said, tiredly as he watched his two year old omega pup play with some other kids.

Taehyung stayed quiet throughout this conversation and he couldn't help but realize that he probably wouldn't ever have any pups. He felt a surge of sadness wash over him but kept a smile on his face because he didn't want to ruin the mood.
