Jack's P.O.V.
I walk around the bunker room. I am just so bored. There's nothing to freaking do!!
Well...I could get a tattoo...no, that hurts. I could go zip lining...no, no one else is awake. I could drink...no, I'll have a bad hangover in the morning.
All that's left is to walk.
I leave the bunker room, and pass Anna on the way. She doesn't even notice me. She's soaking wet.
I shrug, and keep walking. I honestly just don't care.
I walk up the Pit, and end up outside. I climb up a fence post, and land on a metal railing. I have no idea where I am, but the view here is amazing.
As I look around, I could have sworn I saw something blue move on the ground. But it was just a flash. Eh.
I look around one last time, and decide to climb back down.
I go back inside, and was about to head up farther to the empty seperate bunk that I found a few days ago, but I heard a shriek. I look at the bottom of the Pit, and gasp. Two people are lying on the floor unconscious, and two are beating up someone being held over the Chasm by their neck.
I run down the slope, and run across the bridge to the Chasm. As I get closer, I see her. Elsa. She's the one being held over the Chasm by her neck.
I don't know what came over me, but I didn't like the way she was getting abused.
I charged ther one holding her neck, and fisted his face. He fell to the floor. I started to kick his ribcage, and I heard a bone-chilling snap. I broke his ribs. I kept beating him up until he fell unconscious. Then I turned to face the other.
He was running away. I was about to run after him, but a flash of red appeared, and he was on the floor.
Merida punched and kicked him. His blood was all over her face and hair. She didn't stop. I took that opportunity to look at the victims.
Anna was on the floor, unconscious and bloody. Yes, she has a few more bruises, but she looks like nothing compared to Elsa.
Elsa's blonde hair is matted in blood. Her blue dress is tattered. I don't know where her shoes are.
Her pale face has purple-blue bruises. Some are yellow and one is black.
How hard did they hit her?!?
There are horrible red hand marks and bruises on her neck, and she is leaning over, coughing blood and gasping for air.
Oh god. How much did I miss?!
I looked at Anna again, and back to Elsa.
Elsa stops coughing, and she collapsed on the floor, slowly breathing.
Something in me changes...
Looking at her like that makes me extremely unsettled. I can't do it.
Without thinking, I pick Elsa up bridal style, and carry her up the Pit.
Merida walks up to me, and widens her eyes at Elsa. Then she looks up at me. She scowls.
"You betta' take good care of 'er," she said. "Ey'll ge' Anna."
I don't care. I keep walking, worrying about Elsa.
Why am I worrying about her? She can handle herself!
Why am I worrying about her?
I stop thinking, and carry her up to the empty bunker room.
I kick the door open, and then kick it to close. I carry her to the little bed in the center of the room, and I gently lay her down, as if trying not to wake her.
She was really light. Underweight for sure.
Elsa's head shakes a little, and she moans.Oh god. Her moan....no. I'm not even going to think about it. I gotta get this blood off of her.
I walk to the bathroom, and wet a cloth. I then walk back to her, and gently dab it on her face.
Eventually I get most of the blood off, and my stomach jolts again. She's...she's...she's so...pretty.
I can't believe I just thought that.
Jack, this is the stupid girl who's a coward! Who's weak!! Who beat you up!! She's the girl you are supposed to kill!!
...
...
.....not anymore.
