"hyung..? what are you doing here?" changkyun asked sleepily after he had realized what was happening.
"aww, our kkukkung and kihyunnie~ i love that. hey, hi! good morning!" minhyuk said, smiling like the usual sunshine he was, approaching the two in the bed.
"how are you, changkyunnie? are you feeling better already?"
"yeah, a lot actually. thanks, hyung." changkyun answered, smiling lightly.
"minhyuk. seriously, what are you doing here?" kihyun said, surprising the both of them considering they hadn't realized that he was awake already. he still had his head buried in the crook of the younger's neck, his eyes closed. changkyun smiled once again at his cuteness. and other than that, it tickled a bit whenever kihyun talked.
"i'm here to pick you two up. we planned to eat breakfast together- rather lunch by now. it's like 1 pm you sleepyheads. wonho and shownu hyung are waiting outside. they decided it's best to have a meal together."
"oh. then you should go, hyu-." changkyun said, disappointment spreading in his voice.
"you too, silly. all of us. monsta x are having a big breakfast-lunch whatever in boston! we can't exclude our maknae on this!" minhyuk cut him off, still smiling. kihyun and changkyun too, were both smiling happily now even though kihyun's head was still cuddled up against changkyun's back. the younger noticed it though, he literally felt the smile on the older's lips.
"okay, as lovely and cute the both of you are together right now, you should get ready. the others are waiting already, but not only for you." minhyuk added.
"for who else?" kihyun asked, now looking up.
"hyungwon and jooheon. i don't know why, but the strangest thing is that hyungwon only takes long in the bathroom but jooheon is the one who was still sleeping like ten minutes ago although shownu hyung woke him up already." minhyuk laughed. changkyun couldn't help but chuckle when he heard that jooheon was still sleeping. he knew exactly why.
"why are you laughing?" kihyun asked, smiling down at him, already sitting up in the bed.
"nothing, hyung." changkyun smiled. he wouldn't tell kihyun that he struggled breathing and went out at three in the morning to get some fresh air and that jooheon knew about it.
"okay, fine you two. you really should get ready now though. we'll wait downstairs, in the lobby. we do have time, but please hurry a bit, alright? i think they called the restaurant already, reserving a table."
"alright hyung. then, can i go to the bathroom first, ki?" changkyun stated just when minhyuk stood up after ruffling his hair and heading out of the room, closing the door behind him again.
"sure, kyunnie." changkyun completely forgot about the fact that he wanted to talk to kihyun about the texts at that moment, but he was sure to ask kihyun later that day. for now he was just happy that he was allowed to go outside again, even only for a meal. he could spend some time with all his hyungs now and for that, he was the most grateful.
