Chapter Five

~Somewhere on planet earth~

The guy ran away from the seven guys (EXO) trying to outsmart them by using his power to escape. Barely escaping he made it to the Red Force's headquarters. "Did you get the job done?" The guy dressed in black asked the guy who was panting. "N-No, Sir in the midst of trying to get to him I accidentally wounded another. I barely escaped seven of them as they chased after me. I'm sorry sir I'll do better next time and get the job done. It seemed as though he acted perfectly fine considering what's gonna happen later". The guy said as he explained what went down.

The guy dressed in black hissed under his breath pacing. "That's not at all how it was supposed to go. You were supposed to get Subject 4 and finish what we started. Not hurt the other Subjects. Find them and search for Subject 4 and bring him back here. Don't come back until you get it done. Our plans should be kicking in soon. Or else I'll find someone else to do your job". The guy threatened as he stepped closer to the guy. The guy nodded in fear. "Yes, sir. I won't let you down this time". The guy said before running down the hall.

Baekhyun looked at his arm noticing that the tattoo that looked like a vine was changing colors, a burning sensation running up his arm. He hissed under his breath trying to be quiet as to not disturb his friends. Baekhyun remembered what happened last time he used the bathroom. He didn't want a repeat. "Why does it hurt so much? What's happening?" Baekhyun whispered as he rubbed his arm.

The pain was running deep in his muscles that it felt like his muscles were being ripped apart. "Baek you okay in there? You been in there a while now". Chen asked worriedly as he knocked on the door. Baekhyun took his eyes off his arm and looked at the door. "Yeah, I-I'm okay. I'll be out in a minute". Baekhyun mentally cursed at himself at how his voice wavered. "Alright just checking". Chen said as he walked away.

Baekhyun sighed rolling his sleeve down to cover the tattoo. He mustered up the courage before opening the door to see that no one was there. But he couldn't help but think that he could still be this monster.

He didn't want to see himself as one, all he saw was him hurting people. That wasn't the person he wanted to be. He wanted to be the hero that he was on EXO Planet, but this is earth and he was a nobody. No one have ever heard of them or that they existed. They looked like your average people.

"What am I becoming? I don't want to be this monster. Why do I feel isolated compared to my friends?" Baekhyun whispered as he walked to where his friends were.

When he saw Kai, he froze upon seeing Baekhyun his heartbeat picking up. Kai immediately looked away continuing to talk to D.O trying hard to forget his fear. Baekhyun felt his heart sink as he made his way past Kai and outside to check the scenery. His heart breaking a little more.
