Chapter Ten

"What was that noise?" Sehun asked as they looked around the house. Kai sensed the static electricity in the air running towards where he remembered Chen going. The familiar feeling brought back memories of when the Red Force attacked them.

When Kai opened the door, he seen both Chen and Baekhyun staring at each other. "I'm so sorry Chen, I didn't mean to hurt you. I. . . The Red Force took control of my mind. I could feel them trying to get in, but I'm too weak to fight back. A-Are you okay?" Baekhyun asked worriedly mixed with sorrow. "What's going on what happened?" Kai asked making his way into the room. "The Red Force got a hold of my mind again. I just snapped and the black orb appeared in my hand. No matter how hard I tried fighting them, they still found a way in. The only way to stop me was that Chen used his power, somehow our pours collided throwing us backwards by the strong force. But Chen got hurt. All because of me. I'm so sorry. I can no longer tame the beast inside of me that wanted out". Baekhyun explained as he couldn't look at his friends.

Chen groaned before speaking. "I knew when you looked at me that you were no longer Baekhyun, my friend. You were the Red Force, a dazed look in your eyes being mind controlled. The only way I could stop you from harming me or yourself was to use my power on you. Obviously the both of our powers caused a reaction combined, throwing us backwards. But you're yourself now, so that's good". Chen said as he looked from Kai to Baekhyun.

Kai had a bad feeling that Baekhyun couldn't be left alone from now on. But Baekhyun was his best friend not a monster. "You both okay though? Baekhyun are you okay?" Kai asked observing his friends behavior. Baekhyun shrugged looking at the hardwood floor. "I know you're both afraid of me now. I can see it in your eyes. I'm afraid of myself to. Every minute of the day I fear of becoming this monster forever. I hurt two of my best friends, how can I be okay? I'm transforming and this is only the beginning of it. I can't trust myself around any of you. I should just be locked up so I can't hurt any of you". Baekhyun spoke his words barely above a whisper.

"You're not a monster Baekhyun. It's the Red Force that is the monster here. Like we said before we'll search for a cure. There has to be something or someone who can help. I won't let you become this monster". Kai was determined to save his best friend even if it took forever.
