Chapter 9

2 month later

It's been two months since Dimitri and I got marry paper wise, and it's been a mess. Dimitri and I are fine at night. He is sweet and caring, but during the day, he can be very distant, so I have been hanging with Ivan. I haven't been feeling the best, either. I feel like I'm going to puck all the time, and I get dizzy, but I have yet to tell him because he is so stressed.

Everything has gotten worse with the mafia. I'm sitting with Ivan watching a movie. I think I know what's wrong with me, but I don't know what to do. I missed my period, and everything else fit, of course, I need a test. I need to ask someone to get it for me since I cant. I can't leave the house, so i need to ask someone, and Ivan is the best person to ask.

I looked at him and said, "Can I ask a favor."

"Sure."

I played with my fingers and said: "Can you get me a pregnancy test."

His look said it all, making me jump up and say, "Don't tell Dimitri I don't know for sure."

He sighed and said, "Fine, but you owe me, Luna."

I shook my head as he left for the store. Once he left, I went into Dimitris office to see him working like usual. I walked over to him and said, "How is everything."

"Fine. What do you want, Luna."

I don't know what his problem is, making me say, "What your problem? Since we got married and had sex during the day, you treat me like crap."

He looked at me and said, "I am swamped, and I don't have time for you, OK, Luna."

If he doesn't want me, then I will just leave. I rolled my eyes and said, "Fine, I will leave you alone. I am sleeping in my room tonight."

He went to grab me, but I stormed off into the living room. My emotions are over the place. For some reason, I fell in love with an asshole who hurts me, making me start to cry. Adrian said, "What happened?"

"Leave me alone."

He sat down and said, "I know Dimitri is difficult, but he is just stressed, so don't hold it against him."

"I don't care; I don't need the stress he causing me, and I don't deserve how he is treating me."

"I know."

Once he left, I went up to my old room and sat down on the bed. I heard a knock at the door, making me say, "Come in."

Ivan came over with a test in hand. He handed it to me and said: "I heard what happened."

I rolled my eyes as he said, "If you are pregnant, then you need to tell him, so he doesn't stress you out like he does. I think he doesn't trust you"

"Then he shouldn't have married me."

"Agree, but what's done is done. I will be downstairs."

I shook my head and watched him leave. Once he left, I walked into the bathroom and took the test put. I looked at contemplating whether I should take it or not. Is it better to know or not? I stood there for a good ten minutes before I finally took the test.
