Riley
Two weeks have passed since that day Lorenzo and I trained in the meeting room. I'm exhausted; I have barely had any breaks when it came to training with him. Our training has been a crazy ride.
On Mondays, he teaches me how to use knives correctly, throw them, where on a person to throw them at, how to properly gut somebody, how to torture somebody with them for information. On Tuesdays, he teaches me the same thing, but only with guns of all sorts: snipers, pistols, assault rifles, etc. On Wednesdays, he teaches me how to block hits, knives, and guns; basically how to defend myself. On Thursdays, he teaches me how to fight with my fists, feet, legs, arms, head, my whole body pretty much. On Fridays, we train in Rodolfo's personal gym. I work out in there as well as train punches and basic things with him on Fridays. On Saturdays, we fight. He puts that week of training to the test and comes at me with everything. On Sundays, we break. I get up at 8 a.m. usually to start my training at 8:30 and then we stop training every day around 6 p.m.
Currently, it's Saturday and it's 9:30 in the morning. Lorenzo is an hour late and I'm getting annoyed. Davina is with me in the training room complaining that Dante barged into her room this morning and stole her favorite blanket.
"I don't know what crawled into his cocoa pebbles and pissed in it this morning, but that's my blanket!" She huffed angrily as her leg tapped furiously in her chair.
"It's a blanket, Dav. Just go get it back." I said with a chuckle and she rolled her eyes whilst groaning.
"I can't. I don't know where it is. Why does he want a tinker bell blanket anyways? It's purple for Christ's sake!"
"If I see it I will get it back to you, okay?"
"See, now this is why I like you." She said with a grin and just as she said that the doors to the training room burst open and Lorenzo walked through. His hair was a tangled mess and he had noticeable dark circles under his eyes.
"You're late." I said with a neutral tone of voice and he shrugged.
"Nah, you're just early."
I rolled my eyes and he walked over to the water fountain, grabbing a drink. He stepped back for a moment and popped a couple of pills into his mouth before taking another drink and looking at me.
"I'm so fucking hungover." He groaned and I shrugged.
"Maybe that's what happens when you drink?" I said sarcastically and he laughed unamused.
"That's right, captain obvious. Ooo... captain.... Cap'n'Crunch sounds good as fuck right now... Wanna go get breakfast?" He asked and I nodded while chuckling.
"What's your favorite cereal?" He asked and I thought for a moment.
"Cocoa pebbles."
"Mine is peanut butter Cap'N'Crunch... what about your favorite food in general? Wait—no... let's both say our favorite food on three, okay? Uno... due... tre!"
"Pancakes!" We shouted in unison and he stared at me wide-eyed.
"You're my best friend soul mate. Oh my god... wanna go get some pancakes? Wait no we have to train... no, let's go get some pancakes! Do you like peanut butter on yours? I really like peanut butter on mine." He rambled quickly and I laughed.
"Yes, peanut butter on my pancakes is my absolute favorite." I replied and he grinned from ear to ear while furiously nodding his head.
"Yea, because blueberry pancakes are trash! ERRR! Garbage, actually! Wait... garbage... I forgot to take my trash out of my room last night! Crap, I forgot we have a maid. Nevermind! How about them pancakes? I'm so sorry, Riley. I have ADHD really fucking bad. I just now took my pills and they should kick in any minute now!" He said excitedly and I nodded.
