Halloween Town

4th

jonah looked over all of the pathes as he held the coat. his heart was breaking as he looked out.

"hey, we'll find him." daniel rubbed his arm and jonah nodded. they heard a scream and daniel turned into a bat. he flew off into the woods. jack, jonah, eben, and adam just stood there.

then daniel flew back and landed.

"i found a small cabin. i think he's in there." daniel breathed out and jonah sighed. they slowly weaved their way through the darkness and trees. almost halfway there, the sun started to rise.

that's was not good.

so, the monsters pushed their feet harder to work faster. they soon arrived at the cabin, but the sun was so far up into the sky that they had no where to really hide.

daniel changed and flew up towards a window. he looked in, but couldn't see much, so he went to another window. his heart leapt in his chest as he saw corbyn.

he was laying against a wall. he didn't look too hot though. half of him was exposed, the Frankenstein part.

two men stood above him and corbyn weakly looked up. daniel tuned in on what they were saying.

"so, boyo. did your mother think she could hide you from me all this time?" a man said and squatted down.

"i-i don't know." corbyn choked out. as the man's hand came closer to corbyn's cheek, the boy tried to back away.

"well, we gotta go to the store for a little bit. if you dare leave, we will find you and do bad, bad things to you, corbyn." the man stood and exited the house and daniel flew up into the tree as if a normal bat.

as soon as they were gone, he flew down and grabbed a handful of jonah's shirt. he drug him to the house and jonah opened the door. when he looked over, corbyn was shaking and had fear in his eyes, but that seemed to die away as he made eye contact with jonah.

"jo-jonah." he weakly held his arms out and jonah rushed over. he took the blonde boy into a hug. he soon picked him up off the hard floor.

"we got you, corb. we'll get you away from here." jonah carried corbyn outside and instead of taking the path, they weaved their way through the trees and soon arrived to the townsquare. jonah took the back way to the hospital and took corbyn in.

the nurses took him back and jonah sighed as he started to pace the room.

a couple hours later, a nurse came out.

"corbyn will be just fine. you can see him now." she took the five back to corbyn's room. the boy was fast asleep. jonah sat down and daniel changed. he sat on jack's mop of curls. he nuzzled into the curly hair and jack petted his head.

adam patted jonah's back.

"me and eben are going to go home. you guys gonna come back?" adam asked jack and the skele-boy nodded.

"me and dani might. not sure about jo. he's become really attached to him." jack responded and adam smiled. he wrapped his hand with eben's and left the hospital room. jonah grabbed the boys hand and corbyn tiredly looked over.

he gripped jonah's hand and let his eyes close. jack patted his knee before letting his hand linger on jonah's shoulders before leaving the room. daniel was asleep in his hair so he had to be careful when walking.

jonah let his forehead rest against their hands as he slowly fell asleep too.
