corbyn was up early to watch the sunset. jack and adam were by his sides. once the sun was high enough, the other three joined them.
daniel sat behind jack, eben sat behind adam and jonah sat behind corbyn. the brunette hid his face in the younger's neck, loving his warmth on the chilly day.
"we offered to help put up decorations at the town hall." corbyn whispered and jonah smiled against his neck.
they got up off the ground and got dressed for the day, heading to town hall. many people and monsters gathered to help. corbyn and adam walked in while the others helped carry in boxes.
inside, they hung streamer, they put up fake pumpkins, the pit up fake ghosts and everything. they had some bats, to which daniel flew up and hid among them.
until jack climbed up and found him by petting his head. daniel nearly fell. then jack and adam helped with lights, corbyn and daniel helped with food while eben and jonah carried speakers and microphones.
they got the stages set up. the others kept helping around the place.
by that evening, they were done. other minor fixes would be done the next night. they headed out to have dinner before taking a walk through the woods.

corbyn looked up at the tree above. he took in the smells as he leaned into jonah.
"gonna miss you, baby." jonah murmured and corbyn smiled gently.
"i'm gonna miss you too." the boys started to head back home, their backs to the lines of graves waiting to be filled once more.
