when jack woke, he was in someone's arms, being rocked.

"d-dani?" he asked. the older sat jack up and looked at him.

"oh, thank god you're okay!" daniel said and jack smiled. he hugged jack close and the skele-boy leaned back a bit.

they joined their lips and jonah sighed from across the room. he got up and looked out the window at the rising sun.

why did corbyn have to take the sacrifice move?

"jo." he turned around and jack was looking at him. "corbyn...beofre he shooed me away from him, he told me to tell you something."

jonah just nodded.

"he says, he loves you." that made jonah break down and he nodded before turning around. he leaned his head on the window sill and tried, he tried so hard, but sobs escaped his mouth.

it movies and books, if the mysteriously disappeared lover says they love their lover, tbat usually means they're dead.

joanh didn't want to think about that, but it's all that plagued his mind. eben, adam, jack, and daniel tried to give him a hug, but he pushed past them and ran outside.

"jonah!" he couldn't hear their calls as he ran on and on. he soon stopped at the edge of the forest.

"corbyn!" he yelled out into the deep darkness in front of him. "answer, please." jonah collasped to the ground with sobs racking his body and the other four soon arrived. they say down behind jonah and ribbed his back. jack leaned against him.

"he's okay, right? he has to be." jonah choked out, but none of them could really tell. jonah looked dup at the tall trunks and orange-yellow leaves. "TELL ME HE'S OKAY!" he yelled and the other's winced.

"he's not." they all spun and saw jason.

"why should we believe you?" jack spat, but jonah stood.

"because he works with zach." he said and jason nodded.

"worked. past tense."

"what made you change?" jonah asked and jason looked down.

"i truly did not know why zach kidnapped you all, but then i saw what he did to corbyn..." jason looked up. "it wasn't pretty." jonah froze.

"i-is h-he..." jonah trailed off and jason's nod told him everything he needed to know. he dropped to his knees and looked at his shaking hands.

"zach is going to pay." jonah growled and looked up. "and it's going to be painful." the last light of the shining sun glinted jonah's tear stricken eyes. jason saw the pain and nodded.

"i'll help."
