Halloween Town

30th To The 1st

the small town in the middle of nowhere Pennsylvania was fast asleep. nothing moved. the trees lightly swayed, an occasional bark could be heard from a random dog. many were asleep, but so many more were ready to wake up. then all the clocks hit 12pm.

the ground, houses, even the air started to quiver. the monsters were finally here to take part of this spooky month.

vampires, zombies, ghosts, skeletons, pumpkin creatures. you name it and its probably getting ready to crawl from its hiding place.

one particular zombie stretched and moaned. then he looked at his shoulder as a bat landed on it.

"hello, dani." he moved his stitched lips a little and the bat chirped. then a clatter of bones was heard a boy arrived.

"j. lookin' dead as fuck." jonah said and the skeleton laughed.

"haha. funny funny." he brushed his mop of curls from his face as the skeleton part of his face was revealed. the bat flew from jonah's shoulder to jack's. jonah brushed the dirt off his stitched coat and stretched. bones cracked and he smiled.

"okay, get out your stupid skeleton jokes now, ya zomb." jack groaned and jonah smirked.

"not now. maybe later." he winked and jack shook his head. then daniel flew down and shifted.

"you two are like an old married couple." the brunette rolled his eyes as his fangs became visible.

"where do you think eben is?" jonah asked as he looked among the other zombies arising.

"probably trying to get adam to love him." jack deadpanned as they walked through the abandoned forest.

"that is totally plausible." jonah kicked a twig and the three best friends turned a corner in the path.

"corbyn!" a hushed cry made way. to their ears. they all looked up and two boys stood there. two human boys. but neither screamed, nobody does anymore. they all know that the monsters wont hurt no one. they just want a break from sleeping.

"i-is that-" the shortest stopped himself from saying anything as he turned to the taller, but his eyes were locked on one of the monsters. jonah to be exact.

zach tugged his sleeve and corbyn looked down.

"let's go." he growled before running off. corbyn took one last look at the trio of monsters; half-skeleton-boy, vampire, and zombie.

he smiled at them and they smile back before corbyn turned himself and ran off to find the shorter boy.

"what the hell was that?" jonah asked dumbfounded and the two brunettes smirked.

"we found your monster." jonah let that thought sink in and smiled lightly before arms and hands wrapped around him. he looked down at a panting adam.

"how the hell do you guys run so fast?" adam puffed and jonah smiled with a chcukle.

"that's just eben." he quirked and adam groaned.

"ooohhhh adddyyyyyy!" a voice sing-songed.

"nice to see ya, jo." then adam took off as eben approached the three.

"did you three happen to see where my lover went thee?" eben asked and the boys groaned at his terrible poetry.

"nope, haven't seen him." jonah covered and eben groaned before running off in a different direction than his brunette companion.

adam's message rang through his head. jonah smiled before he and his friends continued down the path towards the small town Crowtown, or popularly known as "Halloween Town."

and even though jonah should feel excited to see the city after a year, or two, that blonde was on his mind and his gut twisted with some weird sensation.

he looked at his two best friends that were cuddled up to each other. yeah, seeing jack and daniel every year made him jealous, and maybe they were right.

maybe that blonde was his monster, just in human form.
