All the cheer from our last victory evaporates immediately as we walk in to the Green Lantern room. For a moment I think it might be dedicated to one of the other Green Lanterns but then I turn and see a giant mural of a pathetic worm. It is John Stewart, the current green lantern n the league, and currnetly Hawkgirl and I's leastg favourite persn in the world. Recollection flashes in Hawkgirl's eyes, I know that she is remembering the intrusion on our winderful date, mere hours earlier. She literally flies in to a rage, before I know it she is no longer holding my hand! And she is destroying every last inch of the room with both of our maces. She must be ambidexterous! Alarm bells sound and Eddy Nigma descends from the ceiling attached by wires wearing a S.W.A.T uniform looking unintimidating. I aim a kick at his head, knowing that he wants to stop my hawk senpai and jetpack over him to Hawkgirl.
"I'll admit, you've got my quite... PUZZLED" Mr. Nigma laughs at his own joke, it does not hold the same charm that it once did.
"WHY WOULD YOU HAVE A GREEN LANTERN ROOM???" Screetcches Hawkgirl inconsolibly.
"Capitalism" says Mr. Nigma, looking grim
"YOU'RE A COWARD" I scream, I slide on my knees the remaining few feet to Hawkgirl and scoop her up in my arms.
"Riddle me this, who's going to pay for the damages?" Mr. Nigma cries.
"This place doesn't even seem licensed" I shoot back
"IT'S ENDORSED BY THE FLASH" he screetches an octave or two above his regular pitch, holding up an autographed photo of him and the Flash together outside Central City with a familiar looking key. The reverse side says "ENDORSED BY THE FLASH".
"I CAN'T BELIEVE I THOUGHT YOU WERE HOT" he wails.
Hawkgirl and I both look flattered as we don't know who he directed that at.
"Sorry, but we're a power couple!" we nod triumphantly and scramble away. As we flee into the night we see three children wearing nametages proclaiming, "HELLO I AM BART ALLEN", "HELLO I AM TIM DRAKE" and "HELLO I AM CONNOR KENT" they all look very sad that they won't be able to juse the escape room this morning. Hawkgirl whoops in to the night and I forget all about them as we run triumphent.
