I was surprised with Vineet's words. He had already asked me to go away from him and today, he said the same. But now, I have  a hope that we will be always happy. But he seems to be so sad and depressed.

"I will never keep you happy

"I will never keep you happy. Tum jao yahan se. Jao apne dad ke sath." he said.

I looked at him, he was calm. Did he really want me to go away. But, I cannot. I cupped his face.

"Listen Vineet, neither I'm leaving you, nor you're leaving me

"Listen Vineet, neither I'm leaving you, nor you're leaving me. We will be happy together. Now, it's enough of stress, you should rest." I said strictly.

He looked at me…

"Why are you with me?" he asked.

I looked at him.

"I love you Vineet. That's the only reason I'm with you. And I can't leave you." I said.

Well, that was the truth. He's my lifeline, how could I leave him. I gave him medicine so that he could sleep peacefully. I was sitting beside him and smearing his head. He had his eyes closed and at the same time, my  phone rang. I left the room to attend the call.

When I came back after a few minutes, Vineet was asleep.  He seemed like a little kid in his sleep. I kissed his head and thought about the party invitation for tonight. I was happy, we'd be going somewhere together, though it will be difficult but I will convince him. I took a deep breathe and got busy with my work, I had a meeting kept in pending. Making sure not to disturb him, I moved to another room and completed my meeting in a video call. I was elated that we got the deal. After that I moved to check on Vineet and he was awake. I smiled…

"Acha hua tum khud uth gaye. You freshen up, I'll get coffee for you." I said.

"Where were you?" he asked

"Where were you?" he asked.

"kaam kar rahi thi. Par am free now. What do you want?"  I asked.

He glanced at me and then outside the window. It was raining. The weather was pleasant enough to make anyone happy, be it a child or an adult. He looked at me.

"Let's go in the rain." He said.

I was surprised but I could not let him catch cold. So I denied to him. He looked at me angrily. My body tensed up with his angry glare. He's weak, childlike, yet his eyes have the same intensity and he makes me shiver as well. He started walking outside without asking me, but I held his hand.

"Vineet, abhi hame bahar jana hai

"Mujhe nahi jana.. I'll be at home. Tum chali jana."  he said.

"Tumhare bina kaise jaungi. Chalo na Vineet." I said.

But he was like one adamant kid. I knew I need to do something in order to convince him for agreeing to go for party. I looked at him.

"Acha we will do whatever you want to. Par raat ko we will go to the party." I said.

He glanced at me with his big, innocent eyes and nods his head in agreement. I smiled at him and he moved out into the garden. It was drizzling by now. I glanced at him. He was enjoying the drizzle. It seemed like he knew that I will not leave his side. He pulled me into the rain. Suddenly, the pace of the rain increased. He smiled brightly. I could see a part of myself in my better half and I was happy about it. He circled around me and he was happy. I smiled with contentment.

Suddenly it dawned upon me that we had to get ready for the party. I pulled him in forcefully. He was irked but I pat dry his hair and selected his dress. He eyed me for he did not want to go. I convinced him and we left for the party. Since our friends knew about Vineet, they were careful about him. I was talking to a friend when Vineet's action left me surprised.
